I hate this place. I went because my 14 year old granddaughter treated me to my 57th birthday on Thursday. I hate the place. She experienced it for the first time several weeks prior with friends and they loved the food. I didn't complain at all to her because she was so proud to have earned enough money to take me out. I wouldn't dare point out anything negative EXCEPT THE HOST LED US TO SEATING NEXT TO THE BAR, IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT WITH NO OTHER CUSTOMERS ON THAT SIDE OF THE RESTAURANT!!!!! TF???? This is a practice of racism and I never go for it! So I complained, gently, for my granddaughter's sake of course. I promptly let the host know that I didn't want to sit there. She giggled as if it was funny and I was amused. I hate this place. So she proceeded to escort us to the back (away from mostly white people) to a booth near the dirty server's station. My granddaughter didn't notice. I educated her after we sat down. Our server was new to the game, so I didn't complain about that. It's not her fault. This is a management issue. The food was ok. Salmon overcooked and not made to specifications. The chef came to my table and in so many words, tried to tell me what I had was what I ordered. But after MUCH questioning, he finally admitted that he OMITTED the very ingredient I asked for BECAUSE HE didn't feel it went well with salmon. TF? I am a retired chef. I know what I want. You can't make me want what I don't want! I know what I am eating. You can't fool everyone! So they brought the left out ingredient in a bowl to my table, which I'm not in the mood to eat by the time it gets to me. We are both full and ready to go. As we left, the staff were gathered around the host station talking about guests in their sections. So unprofessional. As my granddaughter and I walked by, they all looked at us and didn't smile or acknowledge us. As we walked out of the door, one server said faintly, have a nice day and come back to us. When pigs fly and horses meow. I hate this place. Had the same experience last year when my two sisters came to visit. The manager apologized when my sister complained. She took care of the issues nicely and professionally. I had the same experience 6 months prior with a business meeting. Countless times, it's been the same type of treatment. This is a corporate issue.I only went because of my baby. She wanted to show me love and I allowed it. I will not...
Read moreI went in for dinner and had the worst and most sickening possible experience. Speaking from someone with a hospitality and customer service background, I can professionally say BOTH were seriously lacking! The bartenders attitude was reflecting that he did not want to be there, I had to wait on salt/pepper/water refills. I ordered the chicken scampi, which was not seasoned but I made the best of it because I was starving. Toward the middle of my meal I discovered that some of the chicken was very uncooked. When I commented on it to the bartender he took my plate to the back and returned and asked did I want another or did I want it took off my bill. Of course I didn’t not want another meal made nor any of the to go food I also ordered. So he came came with a bill that said $0, said have a nice day and walked away. I asked him for the manager, in which, he got. Once the manager came to the bar, he asked what can I do for you??? REALLY??? I said so we’re you aware that I was served undercooked chicken? He said NO, they did not tell me that. Well my server certainly told someone because it was took off the bill. So I stated I was served uncooked meat in your restaurant and no one, management nor my server showed any empathy to me for being served undercooked meat. That’s the least you could do! He said again I’m sorry, they didn’t tell me. So was he sorry that they didn’t tell him or that I was served undercooked meat because they are both a problem. If I was to get sick and go the hospital with SALMONELLA poisoning that would be on him as the active manager on duty! I didn’t go there to get a free $20 meal I went there to enjoy my dinner which was ruined!!!! The least they could have done was show some empathy to the situation in which is did NOT receive! I will no longer patronize that location and I suggest you do the same until their customer service standards matches their motto of treating everyone...
Read moreWe drove 30 minutes to get to this restaurant for an awful experience. Let me start saying poor customer service seems to be more common than not these days and unfortunately last night was no different. Makes you wonder about the future of the food industry altogether. I’d rather stay home these days than take a chance wasting my hard earned $ and leaving irritated. First the greeter decided to try seating a couple of girls who came in after us before us. Being dismissed this way is a major pet peeve of mine. But moving on… Three of us ordered soup and salad. Most of the food came out right away but our soups looked real skimpy. We tried to get refills of the same soup but each time were told it wasn’t ready. 4 times Tee suggested we get another type of soup. 4 times we told her we simply wanted zupa tuscana - The soup we drove 30 minutes to get. After 20 minutes of waiting for a refill, I spoke to a manager about the situation. He promised to ‘make things right’ but that didn’t quite happen. Tee did bring us more soup finally….offering some excuse about a ‘mixup’ in the back. I’m still not sure why she refused to bring us what we wanted. She did move quickly with a purpose but seemingly with resistance and attitude. It just wasn’t pleasant and we ended up leaving after only 1 refill of soup and no refill of salad. I won’t be returning. Genuine care and respect go a long way young people. Learn some basic customer service skills before taking on customer service jobs. Efficiency is more than being quick with the tongue. Pay attention to what customers are asking for without the subtle not so subtle attitude. Then trying to make up after the damage...
