I’ve been to the Chipotle in the Boro so know the routine. Have Celiac so let them know it was gluten free due to Celiac. The manager, Allison, took over with clean gloves to make my order. While Chipotle is very good at accommodating allergies I caught something that I typically don’t catch. The person in front of me ordered a burrito. It comes on a flour tortilla. They flip it down on the counter right in front of the white rice and it would be easy for fragments to get into the rice. I got brown rice... just the same... the container in set on the counter the flour tortilla was just on. So as they manipulate the dish... even with clean gloves you have contaminants on the dish and possibly then on the clean gloves. Also the lettuce and cheese is grabbed by hand. Fact is the scoop handles have gluten on them from previous handling and they touch those handles as they scoop the items. Then they touch the cheese and lettuce with contaminated gloves. But fact is that cheese and lettuce are already contaminated due to the previous person touching it after handling a flour tortilla. Not gluten free. Onto the fillings. They use scoops and the scoop stays with the item it is in and I watched as they fixed the burrito, they did not touch the burrito with the scoop as they scooped items onto the burrito. This is good. As you go along they ask if you want this and that. The queso and guacamole is in containers right in with the items included with your pick. They will ask if you want these... do know these items cost extra. As do the bag of chips if you get it at the end. They will not tell you this. It will ring up on your ticket. The chips do loose their crispy texture with the lime juice they put on them. But the lime juice adds an extra nice touch just the same. The bag of chips is the size of a standard lunch bag. It is 1/3 chips and the rest air. So a good handful of chips. At a Mexican restaurant they would give you a stuffed full bag with a side of salsa for free. My bowl with queso, guacamole and a bag of chips came to $16.08 with tax. When I got to the house and looked over the receipt, as this is high price for a fast food walk through service single dish, I noticed I was charge for 2 queso and 2 bags of chips even though I only got 1. I went back this morning and talked with the manager Allison. She offered to credit me back for the extra charges for queso and chips. Only she credited me $2.05 plus tax. Chips are $1.45 and queso is $1.25. That is $2.70 plus tax. She did not seemed concerned over the double charging and I explained she needed to know as there is no telling how many customers have been and are being over charged. She remained unconcerned. Do always check your receipt if you go to this place. And if they do a refund for over charges do be sure the amount is correct as the manager struggles with...
Read moreThese the most inconsiderate ignorant employees at chipotle I’ve ever come across. I’ve had a few instances where I get my food delivered and it’s either undercooked or made incorrectly. They don’t apologize for the inconveniences they cause people when they make mistakes nor acknowledge it. They act as if they’re too good for that which is crazy because they make plenty mistakes. It’s not gonna make or break the little pay they give y’all at this location to be considerate to y’all customers. I drove here after my food was delivered that was made incorrectly, not the first time this has happened. The so called manager carelessly slid the bowl towards me saying she can’t take it back and said I can throw it away. No surprise, all the “MANAGERS” I come across here don’t act like managers at all. After they re-made the bowl I asked for a complimentary bag of chips cause I shouldn’t have had to come up here in the first place for y’all mistake. She says “no, we have to charge you.” If taking a $2 loss on a bag of chips is too much for y’all after going through the trouble I went through because of y’all, Chipotle need to train their associates on effective customer service and putting their pride to the side or stop hiring people with childish mindsets cause the bag of chips was the least that could be done rather than losing a customer but I’m sure the people y’all have working in the store don’t care at all. But going forward at the Smyrna location, start paying attention to what you’re doing when you make customers...
Read moreAutumn has to be one of the most unpleasant people I’ve ever encountered. This is my third time dealing with her and she’s always had a rude attitude but I’m pretty laid back and let it go because oh well. This time I’ve had enough.. I was greeted with “what do you want”. She always has the same blank stare, but this time she had her brows burrowed and a snarl on her face. I ordered a bowl with double brown rice and double pinto beans but she only added one scoop of each. When I said something she mumbled under her breath “so annoying” and then slopped more into the bowl so hard it almost knocked the whole thing over. I got carnitas and she BARELY pinched the tiniest amount into it, and I was dreading saying anything because of her reaction about the rice and beans. I told her and she scoffed and rolled her eyes and repeated the same action of slopping my food. I am OUTRAGED. Not only the fact of her disrespecting me by calling me annoying to my face, but to be disgusting with my food is a whole other level. This girl needs someone to teach her how to deal with people because she has absolutely lost her mind. She doesn’t deserve this job if I’m saying so myself. I was in complete shock. Do better Chipotle! I’m fed up. The other customers behind me, she greeted the same way. With “What?” I Had to get her name from the cashier because she ignored me when I asked...
