McDonald's — Restaurant in Smyrna

WHERE DOES ONE BEGIN??? This place was on it's way back to good after they built the new store. Sadly, after the one on South Cobb in Marietta closed, this one inherited all of their bad habits x10. One day I went through the drive through on the way to work. They had a 2 for $2 promotion going. I ordered 2 four piece McNuggets. I never checked my food as I was already in line at the drive thru forever, needed to get to work. when I opened it, one box had 2 nuggets, other had...a burned hamburger patty. Fast forward to now... The last 3-4 times we have stopped through, usually just to get a drink on the way from work. The place appears to be open, But doors are locked and no one answers at the drive thru. Last time, I gave up and there were two workers...wait for it..."king-fu fighting" in the lobby. They appeared to be the only workers in the store. Tonight we tried again. This is basically the last chance place where we can grab something quick on the way home from work. So like morons we keep trying this place. Tonight, I ordered a Bacon McDouble, small fries and a large UNSWEETENED tea. I sat blocked in the drive thru for 27 MINUTES! I had a car in front of me, and a car behind me and the stupid cement curb keeping me there. 27 MINUTES!!! For an order that cost $4 and change. I finally got up to the window, and asked what the hell was going on. The girl shrugged and said, "shift change". During my wait, at least 6 cars pulled off, one truck tried 2 times to order, drove around and tried again. I managed to get to the second window, and THEY MADE ME WAIT FOR MY FRIES!! After 27 minutes? No apologies, nothing. I finally got my food and drive off. I got home opened the bag, got a chicken sandwich, soggy half cooked fries (that they made me wait for) and SWEET...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! It's a newer store and yet it's the worst rated McDonald's in Georgia. Orders are always wrong. They're "open" 24 hrs but dont go after midnight. They will NEVER SERVE YOU! Either they tell you at the drive through they are closed for "20 mins" to count tills, change shifts, computers are down, or some other excuse... but that 20 mins lasts all night. OR THEY JUST FLAT OUT IGNORE YOU! They'll just let you sit there, they wont answere the D/T or come to the window. They just hide in the back until you go away. The night staff takes all the paper's off the D/T windows at night that has the manager's name & phone #, and the corporate phone #'s on them. I've got pics & video of them hiding in the back with customers trying to order. Honking horns & knocking on windows & doors... and you can clearly see them hiding in the office. I called during the day to get the corporate phone # & district/regional managers name... they gave me a fake name & number! If by some miracle you do get served late night the food is ALWAYS cold & stale. Fries & burgers are lukewarm at best, obviously cooked hours ago and been sitting under warming lamps or in warming drawers. I've seen some poorly run fast food restaurants before, but this store is far & away the worst (not just McDonald's but of ANY fast food restaurant)!!! If you can zoom in on this pic you can see someone in a grey hoodie hinding in the office ignoring the 5 cars at the D/T menus & at the windows. Do the managers really believe that no customers came throughout the night??? Just sad because it's a very convenient location in Smyrna for late night food. Ok so I pull up to drive thru Greeting “what’s your order” I said I’m fine thanks and you I’ll have two sundaes the girl must have gotten offended by my manners and leaves me at the speaker saying hello for about 6 minutes cars piling up behind me finally another voice ask for my order I place it drive around ask for name of first voice but was denied info ask for manager who walks up with a skully cap and dirty uniform 😳😳 So unprofessional looking and total disregard to my question and complaint the girl at the window on her phone pull up to second window ask for name denied again with laughs this time..Entire dang store unprofessional I just pulled off now this is my thing I visit McDonald’s frequently maybe too much and I’ve learned to ignore the customer service skills cause every single store I’ve visited from SC to FL to NC to GA not one single store has shown customer service skills I mean they all really suck and it’s shameful anywho I post reviews when it’s absolutely ridiculous and the service I received tonight was just horrendous to the point that they don’t deserve my money anymore I’m seriously over the attitudes the unprofessionalism the attire the eating in front customers I mean McDonald’s needs to go one by one or two by two or all at once and just rehire BUT train train train train and focus on customer service skills go to Chic fila and just ask them to please share the video handbook or something cause these people they hire mad they fill out that application and have to work there they don’t take their job serious at all and it’s sad I don’t care if you do outside clean up take pride and just be nice!!!!!!
