TACO JARDIN — Restaurant in Smyrna

Tried first time at 8pm during the week. First thing the guy told me we are out of steak and out of pork which I don't eat anyway. So I got chicken taco with sour cream for an extra .50¢. Taco compares with McDonald's for size but theirs is only $3 instead. Taco Bell 🌮 you can get three tacos for like $5. Not much sour cream was added for 50¢ but had good taste. Cool night I sat outside with my tea I took with me close to the fire pit watching a firetruck return across the street. Lights were on of course and pleasant atmosphere for a date night. Women will take your glass of wine order from inside & bring it to you is a plus if you feel like spending even more money. My honest take is unless you're on a date & sit outside then go to Taco Bell 🌮 you & your woman could drive to the lake & watch the sunset with alot more food to fill you up. Otherwise I will be going back to try the steak but my guess is it's no larger than the chicken I had. It's a food truck but it's very clean, the man that was working the truck was very polite and friendly, the food was reasonably priced and scrumptious to boot! I ordered the crab quesadilla and chips, the chips were really good and this place is VERY generous with the amount of crab it doles out. Was excited to try this place but the food was very subpar. Guac had no salt and barely any lime if at all. Lengua tacos weren’t seasoned at all and cooked very strange - top layer of the tongue is supposed to be peeled off, then marinated or slow cooked with spices.
