I have to say we love yo shop at Ross store, but yesterday experience was very disappointing 😞 We waited in the checkout line for about 40 minutes. About 3:14 p.m., we ( my 2 daughters and I) were called to register # 1 where Mrs. Tanya was cashier. At first, she started placing all scanned items in one bag, which I politely asked to place pots with glass lids in separe bags to prevent it from breaking. She sighted with a loud breath. I tried to ignore it, but then when I paid via the card monitor, it stated to remove my card, and I did so. Mrs. Tanya immediately shouted at me that I had pulled the card too soon, and now we had to wait because it didn't beep, and now it's taking a break. I didn't know that as a customer, we were supposed to learn all the beeps that machines at the register make. She made us wait while the machine was " taking break." Then my daughter ( who has experience as a cashier ) told her," No, you don't have to wait for the machine to take its break. You can just press the red cross button and run it agai, which my daughter did, and immediately the machine changed the screen for us to be able to insert the debit card again. Mrs. TAanya didn't say even thank you for fixing the problem ( to my daughter ). we were told, " Your receipt will print there, and that was it !!!! Wery rude and unprofessional! Please, re train Mrs. Tanya on customer service, and how to talk to customers in general...
Read moreSunday around 2pm on the 23rd June, We decided to buy a sofa bench. We spoke with a male store associate who was working in the section, he agreed to help with loading if the store manager permits. After completing checking out, I requested the cashier to call someone to assist with loading and right away she said "We don't have anyone to load". The store manager was standing right next to her. I asked them that " you don't have a shopping cart that can be taken out of the door and you don't have any one to assist with loading, then why are you selling these large items?", they both went "you can bring your car to the front and load yourself" as if I can bring my car into the store. When my wife pointed out that the employee we spoke with was waiting by the door to assist, the store manager looked at him and waved her hand to walk away and he just trolled away. Customer service is horrible. If the store manager treats customers like this then the associates will just amplify. The wrong personality has been assigned to be a store manager here. They should stop selling large and heavy items when they can't provide any means to take it to a vehicle and assist...
Read moreExcellent customer service. Awesome place to be every time. Located in every State within the United States of America. Greatest Family retail store bar none. Clearance weekly sale. Senior discount every Tuesday. Just fabulous darling. Simply fab. I’m am so grateful to the staff each and every time I come into their establishment. For example, at the beginning of this month I left my iPhone 15 Pro Max in my shopping cart. After completing my purchase. I happily bounced out the store because of their customer service greeting and communication during my checkout. The user experience was wonderful. Got my items and my receipt after paying for the stuff. Rolled the shopping cart over to the parking area in the store. Left the store. When in my car and discovered that I did not have my phone. No GPS, my iPhone is missing. I went back into the store immediately but no iPhone to be found. After purchasing a new iPhone I went back to the store and ask the manager, if he has seen my iPhone? The next day I went back to the stores and the security guard to me to their lost a found verify that the iPhone was my iPhone. I was truly happy and humbled. Thumbs up,...
