If you're craving a perfectly executed smashburger, Freddy’s Frozen Custard absolutely delivers. I had their Prime Rib Burger, and let me tell you, it was incredible. The beef patties were completely flattened and crisped around the edges, giving that signature crunch I love in a great smashburger. The prime rib was thinly sliced and although a little salty to my liking I can see how others would truly enjoy it. The flavor was rich and smoky, and it paired beautifully with the caramelized onions that added just the right amount of sweetness. The cheese? Melted to perfection, hugging every corner of the patty like a warm, savory blanket. Every bite was indulgent and satisfying. On the side, I had the crispy cheese curds, which honestly deserve their own spotlight. Golden brown and perfectly fried, they had that ideal contrast of a crunchy outside with a gooey, cheesy inside. It was the kind of side that you try "just one" of, and then suddenly realize you've finished the whole container. My daughter ordered a classic Freddy’s double, skipping the onions and adding a little ketchup, simple, but so satisfying. She opted for the crunchy tater tots, which were crisped just right and disappeared quickly (always a good sign). And for dessert, she went all out with the Dirt & Worms frozen custard. The rich vanilla custard base, chocolate cookie crumbles, and gummy worms made it a fun, nostalgic treat that brought a big smile to her face. The staff was exceptional. Answering questions that we had about meal items prior to ordering and delivering in a very timely manner. Overall, Freddy’s gave us a casual dining experience with top-tier flavor. Friendly service, hot food made to order, and that classic American drive-in vibe sealed the deal. We’ll definitely be back!

I pull up to drive thru to order(first time eating here) and I ask my wife if she wants anything and of course she says "No mi amor, I'll just have some of yours..." :-/ So instead of ordering the original size fry I order the large fry which was approximately $3.15.. and I order the double bacon steak burger. That'll be plenty of food for us to share. What a huge disappointment. The fries, though hot, were EXTREMELY skinny- even for "steak fries"! The portion they gave me looked more like a "kids size" large. For $3 I was expecting a portion comparable to the $3 fries at Popeye's which would have been plenty to share. At least they tasted ok. But it is DEFINITELY not a large and DEFINITELY not worth $3+. My double bacon cheeseburger looked like they took a steak patty(which is thin to begin with) and then sliced it again! Are these burgers made for children or adults? I really want to know. It had good flavor, but it was way too salty. And I like salty foods. Overall I felt the food was overpriced for the portions you get. The flavor tasted good. The staff was friendly. But I can't recommend this place over Steak n' Shake. 3/10.

If you don't mind getting food that will be cold before you finish eating, this is the place for you. If you want fresh food, you'll have to ask for it. The food is over priced for what you get imo. The steak burgers are two lukewarm paper thin salty patties, French fries are shoe string style & will be served lukewarm. Most of the staff including the manager do not wear the visor that is part of the uniform to restrain their hair and they handle your food with their bare hands. Only the manager wore gloves but since her blue hair was also uncovered, what difference did that make? We ate in the store and had trouble finding a place to sit bc all of the tables were dirty with rings on them from other people's cups or had been wiped with dirty cloths that left a hazy residue. The only thing worth getting is the dessert.

Honest&true: Two days ago my family and I visited this Freddy's for the very 1st time. Food-was tasty!! and we enjoyed it very much. Burgers and chicken tenders is what we had. It's my opinion that their chicken tenders are better than zaxbys. We did not have any custard or dessert items. Dining area-was clean! Bathrooms: ok on the day we were there. Needed just a little attention. So, why only two stars? For me the food can be great but if customer service is poor then the good food doesn't matter. So, when we walked in we were not greeted. Even when we got to the register the cashier did not open her mouth to greet us or even ask us what wld u like/what can I get you. She just stood there staring at me. No thank you or your welcome...I'm not joking. Just an under your breath hhmmm. She was not the only one. Another employee did the same thing. I said thank you to him when I picked up my tray of food and he didn't even look at me or acknowledge my thank you. Let's be honest here-Freddy's is not Burger King pricing. And even if it was it doesn't hurt to be kind and courteous to paying customers. It was an awful 1st visit. These are all young people working behind the register..so we don't teach respect or professionalism anymore? Guys the food was good but I want to spend my money at a place with good food and welcoming customer service. Just awful...
