I recently visited the Panera Bread located along Scenic Highway on a Tuesday afternoon, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. From fantastic customer service to delectable offerings like the mac and cheese and the Asiago sandwich, this Panera Bread location left a lasting impression on me.
Let's start with the customer service. Upon entering, the warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately set the tone for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The staff at Scenic Highway Panera Bread went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was memorable. Despite the lunch rush, they were attentive, friendly, and displayed exceptional professionalism throughout our stay.
My companions and I chose this Panera as our workspace for the afternoon, bringing our laptops to get some work done. The restaurant accommodated our needs perfectly, providing a quiet and conducive environment for productivity. The free Wi-Fi was reliable, contributing to a seamless working experience.
Now, onto the culinary delights. The mac and cheese at Panera Bread has always been a favorite of mine, and the Scenic Highway location did not disappoint. The creamy texture and rich flavor were as satisfying as ever, making it a comforting choice for a midday meal. The Asiago sandwich, however, was the real star of the show. The perfect combination of freshly baked bread, high-quality Asiago cheese, and flavorful fillings made for a truly scrumptious experience. The attention to detail in crafting these dishes is evident, showcasing Panera Bread's commitment to providing top-notch food.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, I must mention that the tables were a bit dirty when we first sat down. However, the quick and convenient solution of having cleaning wipes readily available for self-service made the issue negligible. The proactive approach to cleanliness is commendable, and it didn't hinder our overall positive experience.
One minor hiccup was that we had to ask for water cups since we didn't order drinks with our meals. However, once requested, the staff promptly provided them, and we appreciated their attentiveness to our needs.
In conclusion, the Scenic Highway Panera Bread offers not only a picturesque setting but also an exceptional dining and working experience. The combination of outstanding customer service, a cozy ambiance, and mouthwatering menu options make it a standout choice for those looking to enjoy a quality meal while working or simply savoring a moment of relaxation. I wholeheartedly recommend this Panera Bread location to anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience and a...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to order delivery from their website, one of our items being the Asian Sesame Chicken salad. Once the food arrived, we took one of the salad dressings and proceeded to pour it on the salad, but I realized as soon as I did that the dressing seemed off. I tasted it and realized they given us a light balsamic vinaigrette instead of the correct Asian sesame vinaigrette.
We proceeded to call the restaurant, and the first few phone calls did not get answered. On the fourth or so try, a woman picked up. We told her what happened and she said to hold.
After a couple minutes, a man got on the phone and said “This is Panera in Snellville”. We figured someone saw the phone on hold and picked it up, so we explained the issue we had and told him that someone was helping us. I guess he was the manager or something because he then said “ Yeah, those dressings look really similar and we have a new person doing the salads.” we said we understand mistakes happen, we were just trying to get the right food. “I’ll give you a refund” he replied curtly. We politely replied that we just wanted the correct food that we ordered, paid the delivery fee for, and tipped the driver for. “Well if you come up here, we will make it again” he said.
I’m currently sick and my wife was working on something important which is why we did delivery we told him, and we asked if a new correct salad couldn’t be sent back out to us. “No” he said . After a couple seconds of silence, he added “Sorry.”
Both my wife and I have worked in various restaurants in management over the years, and could not imagine handling this the way he did. He did not give his name. He did not identify himself as a manager. He did not take ownership of the problem. Instead, he made excuses about the dressings looking similar and having new staff. He never said what he was gonna do to make sure it didn’t happen to other people in the future. He never asked what he could do to make it right or really made any attempt to actually apologize.
I, probably more than most people, absolutely understand that mistakes are going to happen. In my opinion, it is not whether or not accompany makes mistakes that defines them, it is what they do when mistakes happen, which is why I believe one star is a valid rating for our experience. I recommend having some sort of QA system for your delivery orders, especially If you’re not going to be willing to fix a problem with an order when it occurs. I would also recommend training your managers on customer service, how to speak to a customer, and the proper way to fix mistakes when...
Read moreWent to Panera ordered my food and paid but eventually after waiting for over a half an hour I found out that the person that took my order actually did not even take my order and I waited for nothing Even though I've been to the counter several times. Wow just wow
Update 2 26 decided to come back and check it out. Restaurant is messy has not been cleaned food wrappers and napkins scattered about. Person's working at the counter or unorganized ignore people waiting and don't listen to it simple order two items eat in no changes to them and yet got it wrong. The coffee bar while the girl was cleaning it she didn't check any of the containers out of milk etc this used to be a good place to come it's going downhill fast and I blame most of it on the workers they change over constantly now and not for the better. 9/11/22 you know you always hope for the best stop by again today it's worse than ever glue me very few people in the restaurant it's usually been packed over the past few years not well kept not clean. The person that took my order at the counter I told them what I wanted that I wanted to eat in and yet they still ask me the same thing I had just told them I wanted listen to nothing I said until they proposed each individual question so it took twice as long. What an enormous waste of time. Also the credits you used to get by being a Panera member or non-existent now which begs me to wonder if the employees aren't taking the credits or if Panera has cut back to giving no credits. But the most astounding part is even though I'm keeping a running log randomly here on this review no one has ever reached out about the issues. SMH such as the world today I guess which is a terrible statement on the world and Panera.
Try it again 5/26/24 extremely sad service and there was only one person in front of me so sorry I was standing there wishing I had driven to a restaurant where I could sit down and a server would be available. I did it yesterday and it was faster. The lady at the counter moved like a slug, for coffee and a orange scone which she originally said she didn't have them they were in the case two feet from her. She initially was going to charge me on with $18 for those two items. This restaurant has taken a nosedive since the pandemic 8/4/24 was the area in the front of the register for the drinks are kept was nasty with debri, waiting for someone to take my order even though they were pretty much standing there chatting. they gave me a pager but still they're screaming my name mis pronounced so I didn't even know my...
