Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Snohomish

PSA for any high school kids, or really anyone looking for a job in Snohomish. Avoid Jimmy Johns. Worked in their hostile and unprofessional restaurant for 4 years and was terminated 2 days before Christmas for illegitimate reasons because of a disagreement I had with a manager, who is also the stores owner.

There are 0 benefits to working here. They own all restaurants under different LLCs to avoid paying healthcare benefits that are required if you employ more than 50 people. They don’t give raises often at all, basically only when minimum wage rises. You will have to fight to use your sick pay, and they will even tell you that you have to work while sick.

I’ve also seen some pretty disturbing things that as a customer, would disgust me. Food dropped on the ground and reused, expired produce used, expired syrup for soda, and much more.

I could go on and on, but just take my word for it. This franchise (Snohomish, Arlington, and Marysville, owned by the Perillo family) is horrible...

I thought this place would be better than the other Subways in town and I was wrong. my sandwich had 3 slices of turkey on it, so much freaking mayo too it’s all i could taste and they only put cucumber and pickles on it when i didnt ask for anything taken off it. ALSO, im guessing she is the manager here, big lady with black hair in braids tonight, she was unbelievably rushing me when i said i had never been here before and needed a second. all she did was stare at me and criticize me not knowing what veggies were on the sandwich even though i have vision issues and can barely read the name. god forbid i ask questions about something im about to pay you for. i dont know who owns this store but the GM needs to do something about her she needs...

Food is always good... But whenn I came in Thursday night there was three employees working... 2 female and 1 male.. the 2 young females were kind and every helpful.. but the male really creeped me out... He kept touching the ladies.. and while she was taking my order he was right next to her whispering in her ear and tickling her.. I no it's not my place to judge but wen an older man is touching and grabbing on every young ladies I just find that inappropriate and not professional for a work setting.....
