Our dinner at Toro restaurant was an unforgettable culinary experience. I went with friends and from the moment we walked in, we were enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between chic and comfortable, making it an ideal setting for a memorable dinner.
I would like to mention Chef Edgar. He was simply outstanding! He made sure we felt welcomed and satisfied in every interaction. Chef Edgar’s dishes were not only visually stunning but also delivered a burst of flavors that left us in awe. It was clear that he pours his heart and soul into his craft, and the result was a dining experience that we will cherish for a long time.
The real star of the evening, however, was our bartender, Anca. She exuded a natural grace and professionalism that immediately put us at ease. Anca’s attentiveness was unmatched; she anticipated our needs with impeccable timing, making us feel both pampered and valued. Her knowledge of the area was impressive, and her beverage recommendations were spot-on, guiding us through a journey that exceeded our expectations.
The restaurant with its incredible team, has set a new standard for dining. If you’re looking for a place that offers not just a meal, but a truly exceptional experience, look no further. This is a restaurant where every detail is meticulously curated to ensure that guests leave with nothing but the...
Read moreWhile the Viceroy hotel stands out as one of the premier accommodations in Snowmass, the same cannot be said for its on-site restaurant, TORO Kitchen. Unfortunately, this dining establishment falls short of expectations and might be a place you would want to skip altogether, ultimately saving you some money.
The menu at TORO Kitchen is priced at a premium, but, regrettably, the quality of the food does not match the high cost. Dining here, you’ll find that the dishes are merely average, lacking the creativity and flavor that one would anticipate from an upscale venue.
Additionally, the service leaves much to be desired, as it is noticeably slow. However, it is worth mentioning that the staff members are genuinely kind and friendly, doing their best to create a welcoming atmosphere despite the delays.
It’s quite disappointing because the interior of the restaurant is truly beautiful, featuring a design that would elevate any dining experience. If you’re seeking a truly upscale and memorable dining experience in Snowmass, I would not recommend TORO Kitchen. There are certainly better options to explore...
Read moreWe have dined at Toro Kitchen for the past 3 years. Unfortunately this year was our last. A reservation was made with a 48 hour cancellation requirement $50 per person if not cancelled prior to 48 hours. We had 6 people so $300 if cancel which was fine because we looked forward to dining.
We were seated next to a table of 6 adults with 6 children under age 5 running in circles flying airplanes. When speaking with the manager "Oscar" he stated "we are a family restaurant and Can't do anything". I completely understand dining with children BUT this is a 5 star $$$$$ establishment.
We chose to stay put. 1 1/2 hour later our food was served. We ordered 4 filet mignon at $79 each as well as a New York strip $89. Our steaks were served a room temperature. The mashed potatoes were hotter than the steaks. Overall experience was very poor. Our bill was over $600 with 20% gratuity included. Overall a very poor experience and doubtful we will return. I say if you want to charge $50 per person for cxl you should provide service and quality at...
