Let me explain to all the people who r looking at this place and why there are some lower ranked reviews vs my 5 out of 5. First of all there are different level of rooms. They have a base “hotel” room, premier level, exclusive level. I stayed at the premier level. I called in advance spoke to a very nice, patient, kind voiced man named Jaden. He answered all the questions I had and was very honest with everything up front. When I’m doing call them up. Don’t give a bad review to someone if you haven’t done your homework. Now obviously things happen and ice machines break, water heaters not hot etc. but do the work alittle. We had a fantastic room. Spacious for party of 3, room was soooo clean, the kitchen was equipped with EVERYTHING even shot glasses and fancy expensive knives. The living room and dining room were in one space and the bedrooms were spaced out with their own separate bathrooms. Bedding was very clean and towels seemed new. I personally stay at Hyatt properties more than anywhere else just cause I know their motto and know what I’m receiving. This place did not disappoint. Check in was easy. The man with the visor was very nice we checked in super late he knew us by name and even said they had the room checked before we came in. |Our room was in the same building as the lobby which was four floors high but the property is quite large and there are plenty of parking with an overflow parking lot if u come in late. |Anytime we went downstairs for a question the staff was amazing!!! We got to meet Jaden and man what a sweet kid in real life as well. His parents raised him well. Such a joy to see his smiling face everyday and I swear he didn’t have a day off cause he was there every day and night. I was in need of some shampoo one night and he went down to get it for me. What a service. Quite honestly we were sad to leave the property. |The property is on the mountain if you aren’t able to walk down a hill or bike down then this is not the property for you but it’s definitely very beautiful as the sun sets right behind the property. It’s also not sun in/out but again it’s a skip and a jump next to the gondola. Definitely will be back next year and hopefully all the staff members are still there especially Jaden and the blue...

We booked the Hyatt way in advance, confirming multiple times, including on the day of our arrival, that we would have 3 king beds. We were sent photos of a beautiful condo, and read great reviews.
When we checked in, the place was in bad shape, and we didn’t have the 3 king beds. One room had old shabby twin beds, one had a queen. No manager was on staff… all week. We waited an hour and a half for the resort staff to call a manager when we checked in, but the resort staff on site were unable to even look at other accommodations for us. It’s been two weeks and we still have not received a call or email back. The booking agent has ignored us.
The condition of the condo was in disrepair, and not something anyone should be expected to pay $9,000/ week for. The bed spread was torn, carpet was dirty and fraying, and windows were broken so you could not open them. A smashed cocktail glass was sitting in the middle of the drive and hit our tire- nobody was taking care of the grounds.
This place is in disrepair- they are just collecting checks.
The response from the hotel below is incorrect and misleading. Never once were we contacted by hotel management and offered alternative accommodations. We actually waited over an hour and a half for anyone to respond after our check in. We have emails that confirmed our accommodations and room types, it was never merely a request. The bedspread was never replaced, and the photos we received were not if the...
Read moreThe only thing "newly renovated" about the Woodrun Place property is the furniture in the lobby. We stayed in unit #37 that is an "exceptional" unit and in the highest cost tier. The cost tier of this unit should be re-evaluated. A positive about this unit was the view and the ski in/ski out from your porch; thus, the reason for the 2 positive stars. Otherwise, this unit's decor is straight from the 1980's. Furnishings are old, dusty and dirty. Lighting is terrible.
The Wyndham property management was terrible... We did not have television service in our unit for the first 24 hours. After 3 calls to the front desk, it was finally fixed. Numerous light bulbs were out and we were told they wouldn't be replaced until they did a "property sweep". Under counter kitchen lights were all out. We had to call and request the "daily housekeeping" and were told we may have to wait until the next day because they had been so busy. There are 3 full baths, not 2. Bathrooms were extremely tiny and the lighting was so old that current bulbs don't fit! Toilets ran constantly. Window seals so old that the wind blew right through. Unit loud from the parking lot and the unit above. Telephone message light constantly blinked. I was told by the front desk that technical support would have to reset it and they never did.
Snowmass was great. The skiing and village areas were top notch. If we return again, we will choose another property and a non-Wyndham...
