Delicious pizza! We came without a reservation on a Sun evening and were seated immediately (we did come at 6 pm). The restaurant is a little cramped but ok. We ordered a build your own pizza with goat cheese, jalapenos, black olives, mushrooms and pepperoni and the cheesy garlic bread. The cheesy garlic bread is probably one of the best garlic breads I've ever had. The marinara sauce with it was disappointing. They should just serve the garlic bread - add in black pepper and red chili flakes and you have a winner!! The pizza was delicious too. Definitely fresh and spicy from the jalapenos. We got the 12 inch pizza for 4 of us and were still left with a couple of slices to take back. We also got a bottle of the Pierre Spar Grand Cru Reisling and it was delicious!! Fresh, crisp and definitely dry, as I like my dry Reislings to be. All in all, good experience and we will try them again if we are back here!

Do you ever have that perfect, magical vacation experience? After a few morning runs on a bright but chilly 12 degree Snowmass morning, I stumbled onto this little gem! From the moment I was greeted and sat down at the bar, I knew I was going to enjoy this place! The server Darko, offered a taste of 3 red wines he recommended before I committed to one (nice move!) and then I saw it! The mussels in white wine went by and the scent was intoxicating! Ok, for those of you who don’t know me, I can be a tad dramatic, but I’m here to announce this is no hyperbole when I say these were the most delicious mussels I’ve had in the history of mussels! Trust me, I eat out and travel AND I’m Italian! We are picky when it comes to our Italian… you will enjoy the atmosphere, the food, the service and now my only concern is I have to go back for some pasta or flat bread or anything on that menu looked FANTASTICO!!

I was told that this place has the best pizza in Snowmass. Sadly not true. The veggie pizza was bland, almost flavorless, and served barely lukewarm. The crust had promise as it was well browned, but ended up being disappointing. Elk Camp has better pizza to be honest. My friend ordered the Ricotta appetizer which was nice, but the amount of bread and credit was inadequate for the amount of cheese dip. He also had the pesto which he said was OK. Very disappointed as I had higher expectations based on folks' recommendations and reviews. The service was not very good either. Polite, but clearly not ordering alcohol with lunch suggested that we did not want water refills, nor did the dishes warrant parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes until we asked for them twice. Skip. (Usually has a long line too - third attempt to get in!)

We ate here on Wednesday night, July 21st, our last night in the area. We were excited for some good Italian food, based on the reviews we read on Google. To start, They seemed annoyed when we walked in and didn't have a reservation, despite the fact that I called 15-20 min before we got there and they said we didn't need one. I wanted the beef carpaccio that was on the meny outside the restaurant... The whole reason for going there... They no longer had it.

Our food was not good like the reviews claimed. The food was bland, not seasoned at all, and very over priced. The kid's ravioli tasted like it was out of a can. My husband had the basil pasta and had to add so much salt and parmesan cheese to even make it taste like something, and it was and extra $9 to add chicken! I had the Carbonara de Parma and the initial bite was good, but it also lacked flavor and enough sauce to cover the noodles. The flatbread my daughter ordered was also bland. But she didn't care as much as we did. This place was confused as to what it wanted to be, there was ambiance that it wanted to be fancy, but there was a TV above the bar with the game show network on. They put a decanter of water on our table, but didn't pour it for us. They didn't check on us after we got our food. It was definitely not worth the $100+ we spent here on 2 adults and 2 kids entrees. I'd skip this place and find...

4 stars for an accommodating and delicious pizza joint. Around 8 of us were looking for some food and popped upstairs to Slice to grab some pizza. Getting up and down the stairs in ski boots was a bit annoying but we made it. They quickly set up a table outside for all 8 of us and got us some water. We went with 3 pizzas and had them in under 15 minutes. We had a mammoth which was delicious, a couple people were a little turned off by the amount of meat when reading the menu but when it came everyone loved it. We got an Anderson Ranch Hand BBQ which everyone also enjoyed. Some of our party was being difficult so they got a large with onion, bell pepper, half sausage, half pepperoni. I didn't really care for it, I thought it was a bit dry and not super flavorful. It also was over $30 and the most expensive by far. I would highly recommend getting a customized pizza off the menu and not creating your own. All the pizzas were cooked well and crispy, not crispy like you would find on a New York style pizza but something cooked at a lower temp .At the end everyone enjoyed the Pizza and if I find myself in Snowmass again I would not hesitate to get...

It's a busy week, and we try to lower our expectations for a busy time at a ski area. But the service was really bad. One person received a different dish that she ordered, and only after we asked did the server say that the kitchen ran out of one dish and gave her another without asking if the substitute was ok. Who does that without saying anything?! The pizza and pasta were both ok but not great. They charged us $6 for extra bread with burrata, and we got 1 extra piece of bread (3 total for our table of 4), which just seemed like they were mad we asked. Our check had someone else's drinks on it. Also, apparently they automatically charge for doubles (for $15 extra) when one orders a cocktail, even though we didn't order a double and the drink didn't taste strong at all. That's a strange practice that seems a little shady. After all of this, the server was apologetic, but instead of just comping something and letting us go, she brought us free dessert. We appreciated the thought, but by that time it wasn't enough to salvage a bad...
