I've eaten pizza all over the country from places like Lou Malnati's, Giordano's, Minksy's, Apizzascholls, Jersey and New York. The restaurant is nice and the staff is nice, but the pizza is terrible. I understand we have supply chain issues but if you are going to skimp on the quality of the food then adjust your prices accordingly. This was a $4 pizza at best not $25 I could have gotten better pizza at Parkers or Little Caesars. I would have rather bought a frozen $1 Totinos Pizza from Kroger. Reminded me of school lunch pizza but I had more chopped garlic than cheese on an Over Under with nothing Under, only over. Not to mention the onions on top of my pizza were freaking raw. Are you kidding me? I know more about pizza ovens than the average person should know and I question the "Stone Deck" after seeing my crust. Not even close to being cooked long enough or it was baked in a standard electric oven maybe. You can even see the sausage is partially raw. The garlic isn't even chopped its out of a jar from the grocery store and it wasn't even cooked! This is theft. Don't bother trying to contact me either I don't want a refund, a credit or a 2nd chance because I will never come back. I'm not trying to be an @$$hole here but good lord cmon...
Read moreWanted to leave 3 1/2 stars. We decided to dine here for the first time and only for pizza. Our years of searching for New York- tasting pizza in this area is elusive. Some places come close, but unfortunately Guiseppi's did not. A balanced combination of cheese and sauce is just not there. Cheese was dominant, but this is what a lot of people like. I can say that the dough was nicely baked and it had a great crust. We asked our server to bring some sauce on the side to dip our pizza into it. It was a very sweet-tasting marina sauce. So please don't judge on my review. Try it for yourself. You may be a pizza lover that prefers mostly cheese on dough. This restaurant must be doing something right. Every table and the bar was full at around 6 pm on a Friday evening. Not sure if everyone was having pizza, but the pizza takeout business was very brisk. Our server, Nathalie, could not have been nicer and more helpful. She was terrific! Cannot say enough about the Serg group that trains its staff well and has lots of great restaurants. Looking forward to a future visit to try out Guiseppi's pasta dishes. This place has character and we'd like it to be a steady place for us...
Read moreOn a cold Thursday evening, Giuseppe's wasn't crowded. Our server was friendly and attentive, but it took a little longer than expected to get our orders. Friend chicken and antipasto salads were as expected. I tried a "Weggie", a speciality type of sandwich that consists of a small pizza folded around the sandwich contents. For my buffalo Weggie, I immediately noticed there was no buffalo sauce. I informed the waitress and she apologized; she told me they had a "new guy back there". She then brought me a side of buffalo sauce. I'm not sure if the sandwich, as intended, has the grilled chicken tossed in the buffalo sauce or not. As I received it, it was mediocre at best. The pizza dough as sandwich bread seems better in concept than practice, as it seemed a little undercooked and the cheese looked kind of microwaved. The chicken was cold and seemed to have been sitting pre-prepared. Aside from the buffalo sauce, the whole sandwich seemed kind of tasteless and lifeless, though the outside of the sandwich did have a pleasant crispness.
Overall, I can't recommend eating here, but perhaps their...
