Horrible customer service and inconsistent food.
This place cares more about their “Drive-thru time” than actually getting the food out to the customer.
I get to the menu to order at 5:06. I waited 4 minutes for someone to come over the speaker and take my order. (5:10). I pull up and wait for the car in front of me to pay. Then when I get to the window to pay it’s 5:15 now. They tell me that the food isn’t ready and I need to pull up to the door even though there was NO ONE behind me. I pull up and wait and wait and wait. They bring my food out to me at 5:25. It’s been 20 minutes since I got there. I go through the bag and check to see if I got everything..Nope. Missing items. So I go BACK around to the EMPTY drive thru line. I tell them at the speaker and they pull me forward. At the window, the girl tried to argue with me and say they put everything in the bag. I had to show my receipt and the food before they finally believed me. THEN they told me to pull forward while they made the rest of my order. There was NO ONE behind me. I said that I would like to wait at the window since it shouldn’t take long. They tried to get an attitude with me and then some random guy rounds the corner and says “we’re just trying to keep our drive thru time down honey”. They forced me to pull up and brought me the food like 2 minutes later. At this point it is now 5:40. I had been dealing with this for 35 minutes. It was a simple order. Read moreThis was unfortunately my last time trying to attempt to order food from this jack in the box. Over the past year and a half of living in the area this is probably the 9th time I've came to this store and they're literally out of pretty much everything. Then when I finally ordered and got to the window I was met with the unwanted news that what I did order was also out of stock. How is it that y'all are out of stock all the time? Has this lesson not been learned. Ive glanced through the reviews and I'm not the only one that's having this issue. So then after finding out they're out of pretty much half of what I ordered. They handed me one of the two chocolate milkshakes I had ordered , it looked like absolutely garbage whatever I got looked like it was put together by a toddler I ended up tossing out, but our story isnt done. The card reader was beyond repair from the looks of it. When the reader was handed to me I tried my card. The card reader was having communication errors. As the employee was scrounging to get the thing working I'm watching. The cord looked as if 6 rats had, had they're way with it. About two feet of cord that I could see was wrapped in various different electrical tapes in different spots, and the rest was bare wire. After him retreating to grab the manager he tried resetting the card reader for the third time I was done. No food, poor service, faulty equipment, and repetitive issues. Negative stars review. Read moreEdit: I finally received an email (nearly 2 weeks after the initial order) that said I got a full refund, which I do appreciate greatly. I am still likely to never order from the app or jack in the box in the future, too much hassle for not good food. Their milkshakes are good though. Thanks for the refund and I hope your customer service and quality improves in the future. I am upping this 1* review to a 2* because y'all did make it right in the end (though it took a really long time with very little communication.)
Original: I don't normally write negative reviews and I wouldn't be writing one if it was just bad quality food or something like that. But I placed a rather large order through the jack in the box app the other night for delivery and half my order was missing and what I did receive was either wrong or poor quality.
I can handle bad quality food, it's jack in the box not p.f Chang's. What I can't handle is absolutely no communication about if I'm getting refunded for the missing items. I sent in a refund request twice through the app and have yet to hear back. I tried calling the restaurant and it goes straight to voicemail. I've looked up online and it seems others have trouble getting refunds too.
I'm sure the people that work at this location are overworked and understaffed, lot of places are, but having no communication or ways of getting a refund is just bad business.
