Normally, I have no problems eating at Moe’s, but today I experienced unwarranted attitude from employees. I came in trying to pick up my mobile order when I was notified by a nice female employee with purple highlights that my name wasn’t on the receipt because it had shown up as question marks, so she just needed to verify my order. After telling her was I ordered, I was waiting on the side for a few seconds when a short female employee with light brown hair decided it was best to have a condescending attitude and raise her voice from across the restaurant to reiterate what I was told about the question marks as if I was incapable of understanding. Soon after, another female employee with dark hair (who had already made me uncomfortable with her consistent stare as I entered and walked towards the mobile order pick up area) asked if I wanted to see the receipt as if to prove they weren’t lying. I was completely confused on why I was receiving so much attitude and nasty looks from these women when I hadn’t done anything to them. It is obvious that these two women assumed that I had an attitude over something as simple as verifying that an order was mine when that was not the case at all. Read moreI was actually really disappointed in this location. We often go into the Moe's locations at both Wescott and Mt. Pleasant and have never had a poor experience. This was the first time we've ever been into the one at Azalea (although we have gotten door dash from this location before). The restaurant itself was not up to par to the others we've been to. Dirty tables and booths, messy floors, salsa slopped all over the salsa bar. We were there for well over an hour with very few other guests coming in and out while my daughter did her homework and not once did any employee come out from behind the line. The tables and chairs were all askance and knocked around, it was honestly just a mess. It looked more like a taco bell than a Moe's. The employees behind the line weren't overly friendly, either. They were rathee brusque, tossed out side of sour cream in the little basket and didn't fix it when the top popped off and the sour cream spilled out. Just ignored it and piled chips on top of it. I was sorely disappointed and now I get why my door dash orders from this location are often wrong. Likely won't bs returning to this one. Unfortunately this time we went there was a problem with the bar, I got a bowl and it was ice cold, my husband took it back up to the staff and told them it was cold, they were very willing to remake for me, as I am pregnant and have to be more cautious. We accepted the remake, and once again it was ice cold, my husband once again took it back up, and made them aware of the problem with the temperature, and the staff recognized the hot bar wasn't holding at proper temperature, and offered to completely re cook new fresh food, but as it was after 9pm at this point, we said no and got a refund on my food, they were all very apologetic, but never corrected the temperature (the equipment failed, not anyone's fault!) But, the problem is, after being made aware the food wasn't being held at proper temperature, they continued to serve it to other guests coming in, and never even bothered to try to move the food to the grill on low to have proper food holding temperature. Once again, the staff was very nice and apologetic, but just never corrected...
