Tega Cay Pediatric Dentistry — Local services in Tega Cay

I have never in my life been to such an unprofessional dentist! To think this doc treats kids is beyond me. My daughter came in for a cavity fill and was terrified so we decided to try laughing gas. The gas didn’t seem to be working, unsure why, but we did get the cavity filled. The dentist did not try to explain anything to my daughter or ensure she was breathing correctly to receive the benefits of the gas and help reduce the anxiety of the procedure. She seemed impatient and in a rush. She was very short with me like she didn’t even want to communicate.

Unfortunately at my daughters next cleaning she again had a cavity 6 months later due to weak enamel. We went in for the fill and she didn’t get the laughing gas. My daughter again was scared and she this time didn’t even attempt the gas.

She got frustrated with my daughter and got up and walked out of the room. About 2 minutes later she came back in and said to leave she doesn’t want to treat her because my daughter was scared. She then told me I needed to seek someone who could put her under full anesthesia for a cavity fill. No recommendations of where to go, nothing. She was rude and not helpful and really unprofessional!

The office is bright, cheery and so welcoming. The staff are friendly, efficient and truly genuine. They take the time to explain things and don’t rush through. My daughter was quickly taken into the back and said it was a positive experience. She was thrilled with how easy the X-rays were and thought everyone was pleasant and complimentary. She appreciated the compassion. Scheduling the next cleaning was a breeze. My child had only been to family dentists prior- so she was impressed with her experience and won’t mind when it’s time for her next cleaning.

A year later, and I truly cannot say enough nice things about the staff. They are hands down the kindest!! They really take the time to listen and respond thoughtfully. I get tense thinking about dentist appointments and visits, but my family feels so at ease here. And bonus, it’s so easy to schedule and change appointments when needed. They offer appointments late enough to schedule for after school and I’ve never had issues scheduling appointments for the days/times I needed even without scheduling months in advance. Okay so where do I start. I’m giving another review from my husband account because I had gave a review before in the past already. This is literally the best dentist ever! I wish I can give more than 5 stars. My daughter Mercedes is in love with this place. They let her choose the show she can watch. The two ladies in front that checked her in was absolutely AMAZING! Great attitude and just made my daughter feel comfortable. We feel like we home. Now let me say the dentist Brianna who did my daughter’s teeth cleaning and X-rays I loveeeeeeee her so much. She took care of my daughter so well. She also gave great tips on things I can do on my part to help my daughter. Love her attitude and just how nice she is. Amazing. My daughter had got some sealant done and two teeth pulled out. I wish I got the doctor name who did it and the other person who helped her out. They were amazing with Mercedes.
