We decided to check this place out after hearing some good things. My girlfriend really enjoyed hers — she got the Oreo bar with white chocolate and Oreo pieces, and thought it was great. I went with the Belgian chocolate dipped in cookie butter and rolled in peanuts. Unfortunately, mine was just okay. The ice cream itself didn’t stand out, and I was especially a bit disappointed by how little cookie butter there was — which was the best part.
Overall, the paletas didn’t wow me. They tasted like pretty standard ice cream bars dressed up to look more premium than they actually tasted.
What really threw me was the price: just under $17 for two small bars. I understand they’re using higher-end ingredients, but that’s a tough pill to swallow when the flavor doesn’t match the price tag.
To put it into perspective: for $17, you could buy
2-3 gallons of ice cream at the grocery store
3 “Gotta Have It” size ice creams at Cold Stone (which, let's be honest, who wouldn't want that)
6.5 Doritos Locos tacos from Taco Bell
A Large pizza from Little Caesars — with change to spare
Or, a decent amount of gas to cry in your car over how much you just spent on okay ice cream
All in all, I wanted to like it more than I did. Maybe we just caught it on an off day, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way...

Read moreI was excited to try this place because I follow them on Instagram and was glad to see they had a location in Fort Mill, SC. This location only opened in October and when we walked into the place the display case where all the popsicles should be displayed, was completely empty. They said the freezer wasn't working, so there were no pretty popsicles to look at. You just had to pretty much look at the menu to figure out what you wanted. I asked for a popsicle with the waffle burrito around it and then they said their waffle maker didn't work. I told them that was my first time there and it was already a disappointment. I would think a place that's newly opened would be on top of it, and keep their equipment operational. The popsicle was delicious but I didn't think they had enough topping choices. I was a bit underwhelmed. Doesn't mean I won't go back, but I think they need to add a few more topping choices and all of their equipment should be operational. Their Instagram showcases all of these beautiful displays of popsicles and you don't see that when you first walk into this place, so that was...
