Both the food and service were very good, but I only give it 4 stars because of complications with the online rapid ordering. We ordered dinner and some bagels for the morning and did the rapid pick up. When I got there, my food was sitting in a bag on the rapid pick up shelf. I grabbed it and went back to my car. Halfway out of the parking lot I decided to check the order. Much of it was right except instead of 2 side orders of baguette and a fruit cup (which I paid $2 extra for), there was 3 bags of chips. And instead of a cinimon crunch angle (my girlfriend's favorite) they gave me another asiago bagle instead. When I went back in, they explained that they were out of those things (Really, Panera? Out of baguette) which is what I figured, and they quickly offered me some different bread. She had to go make a fresh fruit cup, and they offered me a couple of complimentary items from the bakery case for my inconvenience. (A free chocolate chip cookie can solve most problems.) They made it right, but be weary of the rapid order as there is no way for them to communicate any questions or issues...

It was foreboding when we noticed someone apparently from Corporate was nearly yelling into a cell at a table near the entrance about various things he wasn't happy with--from how the new items were not being served right in toppings, appearance and portion size, to the lack of cashiers, no visible line for the large crowd and no apparent manager on staff. He wasn't happy. And frankly, he's late to the party. We love some of the items you can get at Panera, but this one in particular consistently gets the order wrong, is understaffed, and has trouble keeping tables clean. They do manage dishes stacked at the waste bins fairly well. Also, as a regular coffee drinker, I noticed that they have problems keeping the urns filled if you come inside for breakfast, it's not uncommon to find grounds in your coffee. Read moreThis place isn’t what it used to be anymore The younger stuff just doesn’t care about the customer One evening I went through the drive-through and the Goth alternative stuff was working and literally took my payment told me to hold on for a moment the girl that took my payment and the rest of the staff that was working with her went out back smoke and Vaped then finally about seven minutes after that came back to the window and was saying sorry about the wait because I guess she thought I couldn’t see them but I could not only that but every time I go get coffee and that group is working they will not make my coffee they will put the sugar and cream in the bag for me to make it myself which is very inconvenient especially when you’re going through the drive-through because you’re driving you shouldn’t have to stop and pull over when you leave the drive thru and make your own coffee because they decided to be so lazy to not make it themselves kinda Defeats the purpose...
