It's been awhile since I've did a updated review for Texas Roadhouse and I gotta say they still have it...Great customer service and the food was đ yummy. I was undecided at first while looking at the menu but wanted to try something totally different. So, I ordered the fried 4pc Catfish dinner ( yes, it was boneless; big plus) with two sides & soda w/lemon. I chose the mash potatoes w/brown gravy & the side mac and cheese. The Catfish (cornmeal breading) was cooked perfectly. (Comes with lemon wedge and tater sauce so good). The breading had Great seasoning but I wished the đ Catfish itself had some type of seasoning or more of it to taste. (I like to season the fish and flour/cornmeal mixture)..The mashed potatoes w/gravy was great. The gravy was a little different but really good.. It kinda had a steak taste..More of a black gravy than brown color imp (Grease drippings maybe) but I liked it. I was excited to try the mac and cheese but it wasn't what I was hoping for..Just the noodles & cheese sauce poured over the top. I was hoping for something much better. Maybe the chef could work on the mac & cheese đ§ a little more to take it over the top. The appearance could use some work as well. Everything was the perfect temp. I will order the Catfish again. Maybe a side of the shrimp đ€. It was looking delicious & sounds really good too. So its a must try next visit. My husband ordered the 20oz Ribeye stk w/ a loaded bake đ„ and house side đ„with Ranch. Ofc He had to order a Blue Moo đș to go with his steak đ„©ddinner. He enjoyed every bite of his meal..Our server was Joseph for the night. He took care of us...Everything was good togo! We will definitely return. We love Texas Roadhouse! The atmosphere is great and I believe we were able to meet one of the 2nd shift managers. I didn't catch her name but she came by our table and asked if we were okay & if we needed anything. We love the country music đ¶ and all the tv's all around us. We sat over by the bar area in a booth right under the AC vent & I thought I was going to freeze. (I'm cold nature) I will definitely bring a little jacket or a hoodie next time. We didn't want to move to another table or cause an issue while it was busy but once the ac knocked off, I was fine. I usually carry something with me whenever we dine out for dinner in case I do get cold but it was a last minute decision to stop & get dinner. Thanks for a great dinner Texas...

The staff was RUDE, period. I called ahead (over an hour before the party was to arrive) and they tried to persuade me out of coming over the phone. I got placed on the wait list regardless as we had already told everyone this location at the time and were traveling from Greenwood to celebrate my kids birthday. On arrival, my mother and sister were told âyou need to wait in your car. Not the crowded lobby.â My niece got car sick and we tried to tell them this and they didnât seem to care and continued to tell us to go to our car. Upon getting called to be seated, the waitress at the door was rude and gave us 0 direction on where to go and who to follow to our tables. The worker standing at the door in the little box yelled at me for not knowing where to stand as I was just told to follow someone to a table (chaotic to say the least). Once getting to our tables, the young lady MANAGER proceeded to ask âis your entire party here because it doesnât look like itâ, my mother was in the bathroom and just had not made it to our tables yet. Are we supposed to hold our bladders after driving from Greenwood til your already rude staff tries to get your crap together because they didnât want to work a party of 13? Seriously, do better âmanagerâ.
Our onion was literally thrown on our table, my aunts rib eye was over cooked and the topper was that THE BIRTHDAY guests dinner came out cold (steak and grilled shrimp with a baked potato). We quite literally felt pushed out of the door after we were finished eating by the staff.
Our server however, was great. Kudos to her for picking up the customer service slack where others failed miserably. Wish I could remember her name. I hope they gave her the full tip and didnât make her split it with...
Read moreSo i have been a Texas Roadhouse fan since day one. Unfortunately from day one until now things have changed. The last 3 times we ve been its been very disappointing and the last time on my birthday ( 12/6) we had a party of ten to celebrate was the worst. Ive worked in, managed, owned restaurants, so i have somewhat of an idea how and what food should look and taste like. Out of the ten people in our party over half the food was at best, warm. My wife and i ordered prime rib. Ours both arrived literally raw, barely warm to touch. Our waitress Georgia (who did a fine job) took ours back to "fix" them. Well unfortunately ya dont just fix a raw prime rib. Im guessing they threw them on the grill in an attempt to cook them to the medium we ordered. Well after maybe 7 to 10 min they came back and were still 80% raw with some edible meat around the edges. The manager came over inquirering about our issue. I explained it to her and she apologized and told me she would let the kitchen manager know about it. Well thats great, informing the kitchen manager doesnt do anything to help our bad experience. Maybe times have changed since i was in the food industry, but if I was the manager, first i would have ask the rest of the party how their food was, then whoever was not satisfied one of two things would have happened. Either all dissatisfied would not have been charged or i would have given them gift cards to give us another chance to make it right. The two bright spots of the meal were the waitress, Georgia, and getting to spend time with my family. So as of this 3rd time of a negative experience, our party of ten will not be returning to Texas Roadhouse. This was at the one in...
