I don't believe I've ever left a negative review, but I had to for this Wendy's!
First of all, the speaker box was VERY QUIET and the worker taking our order was quiet and mumbling. It was very hard to hear what they were saying. We were a car of 6, so I know it was a long order, but we waited before getting confirmation to proceed to the next person between each order to ensure we weren't going too fast (ive worked drive thru at night, I know how it can be). I felt like we were inconvenience the worker and he didnt want to deal with us. At the window, he handed us a frosty (that was a flavor we didnt order), and when we asked for the correct brownie batter frosty, he said "you only ordered one" and walked away from the window before we could explain it was the wrong one.
We cut our losses on thr frosty ans pulled away, but we realized that they had completely excluded one of our wednesday meals on top of the frosty. We decided to pull back to the order box and explained we didnt get part of our order, and got hit with a sassy "its not on your receipt." Okay,so can we order them please. Wait in the long line and get to the window, he hands us our frosty and other meal combo (that also contained a frosty). He then held 3 spoons out the window, and as my friend reached for all of them, he said "no, you only got 2 [frosty's], you only get 2 [spoons]". Then why did you hand us 3?!?!?!?! And on top of that, BOTH OF THEM were the wrong flavor!!!! We now had 3 frosties and none of them were correct.
And lastly, I ordered an asiago sandwhich (which comes with bacon and cheese) but no lettuce, ranch, or tomato. Open up my sandwhich..... no cheese or bacon... but it has lettuce... tomato... and ranch..... what?!? It even had it correct on the receipt so I dont understand how this happened !!!!
I will add, the woman who handed us our drinks the first go round was very nice to us! It was the other worker who acted rude.
Plus side, we have a funny story to start our vacation with. It...
Read moreMan, it's no wonder y'all have such terrible reviews. We're from out of town, as I'm sure 90% of your guests are. We pull up to the drive thru and there's a no lettuce sign. No big deal. Then we're told there's no lids for the medium and large cups. So we got downgraded to smalls. Annoying, but I get it. Sometimes you run out of stuff or don't get what you're supposed to on the truck. Whatever. Then we asked for extra ketchup, as we got 5 meals, and we all know Wendy's fries are no where near the top of list on the best fast food fries, they need ketchup. Well guess what? Out of ketchup too. As I said, we're not from here, and we all wanted ketchup to go with bottom tier fries, so then we had to run in Kroger for ketchup. Finally get back to our room, exhausted and hungry and everything was absolutely horrible. My daughter got unsweetened tea when we ordered sweet, with so few pieces of ice that it was completely melted in the 10-15 in minutes it took to get back to our room. The tomato that was on my burger looked like it came out of a can because it was so old/bad. Ain't no way someone picked that tomato up and threw it on a burger while thinking "mmm this is a good tomato someone will enjoy eating". But the kicker of it all was those bottom tier fries. Fries that I know good and well were cooked probably 20 minutes before we even ordered. Cold, unsalted, soggy, sad fries. Fries I didn't think could get any worse. I will say though, I know it ain't the workers fault. You know, those hourly employees that are the ones having to deal with improper truck orders, having to deal with the angry guests who are mad there's no lettuce, or lids, or ketchup, or whatever else. It's no wonder they don't care if they're serving nasty tomatoes or dead fries. Y'all need to get your priorities in order. This was ridiculous. We spent $55 on 5 meals. $55 for probably the worst fast food meal...
Read moreProbably the absolute worst Wendy's in the entire United States. You would've thought we showed up and interrupted all these people's days with the way we were treated and spoken to. Just got done driving hours to get to north Myrtle and this was the only place that was open UNFORTUNATELY for us. The employees completed disregarded us, didn't listen to our order, messed it up the first time, and then when we pointed out we were missing a frosty he said "you only ordered the one oreo," and walked away from the window. We didn't even order the oreo, we ordered the BROWNIE BATTER for both frostys and one was missing. We were forced to pull away because he walked off as a clear dismissal. We then realized we were also missing a whole meal. So we had to pull through AGAIN. And the guy at the box made us wait for five minutes to order again, acted like we were inconveniencing him when we told him we were missing items and said "well they're not on your receipt." Well ya because you weren't LISTENING and you didn't repeat our order back to us or double check that everything was correct. Waste of our time and waste of his time. Though he had zero sense of urgency unless people were actually at this food establishment for food which obviously pissed him off more than anything. We pulled to the window and there was zero remorse and he was obviously more annoyed that we pulled back through to correct our order. And guess what?? He passed out our other food and the frosty was STILL WRONG. At this point we just had to go because we could not handle it anymore. We get how it is, some of us have worked fast food previously, but never have I encountered such poor service and such apathy from a fast food establishment like this. Avoid going here unless you want to be irrationally angry for 40 minutes and eat whatever the employees choose...
