I've been doing a happy dance since they opened. The interior is cute, huge counter tables for big families, and staff walks around seeing if u need anything. Dont be intimidated by the long drive-thru line cuz they will hand you a menu card and the choices are freakin AMAZING so you can study it in line. Super nice guys like Evan will chat with you and welcome you as they hand you the menu card and will answer questions. Then ANOTHER nice person like Landon will take your order from a handheld device so your food is ready the moment you get to the front. I'm gonna give you some of my favorite customizing tips sd well as a few of my favorite items i like to order cuz I'm from California and it was our go-to for affordable yummy food and all day breakfast place. Tip #1: you can upgrade any bargain sandwich (see "Jack's Deals") to their grilled sourdough bread. SO much yummier than the regular bun and only like 50 cents for the upgrade. Tip #2, if you get the tacos (2 tacos for less than two bucks!!! What???) have them add sliced tomatoes for 30 cents. Jack in the box tacos are different and SO FREAKIN YUMMY. At first you'll be like "american cheese on a taco??" And then you'll be like "dang that was GOOD" and you'll be addicted. Because the flavor of the their taco sauce (ask for extra!) mixed with the recipe just WORKS. Yes it's a gringo taco but it's cheap and so so so yummy. Their grilled chicken breast is SO MUCH BETTER than other fast food (it's fresh, moist and not overly salted or seasoned). Their salads actually look and taste fresh. The all-day jumbo breakfast platter is a good deal and can be any time of day, and the breakfast meat lovers burrito is AWESOME and will save well for morning if you order it late the night before and microwave. That thing will keep you full for many many hours of your day. If you look at the prices and options of the build-your-own munchie meal (compared to a regular combo it's a no-brainer) it's pretty dang good and i cant wait to see if they would maybe upgrade "cluck" to grilled chicken for a munchie meal. But i like the Jack's deals best for bargains and adding little upgrades to make them better. Some of the fried snacks are AMAZING. i LOVE their fried stuffed jalapenos, they are so juicy and cream-cheesy and spicy. (These put thestuffed jalapenos from burger king or arby's to absolute shame.) Asian egg rolls are my favorite unique option for fast food! They used to have an actual teriyaki chicken rice bowl which was so fresh and but i dont see it anymore. If they ever bring it back GET IT and add eggrolls! Looks like they've added one more Asian-ish option, Boba drinks? Although i havent tried those. Anyway ENJOY, South Jordan'ers! There is nothing else as cheap or yummy in this town in my opinion!!!

I hate giving my almost fav restaurant a bad review, BUT this location should be avoided! I order the food: what I order; what is advertised; and what I get. As for customer service... I feel that I'm a burden to just about every employee. Even if cashiering isn't their job; a smile, a friendly greeting, even a simple "I'll get someone to help you" would be nice. Instead I get a sour face, sneared look as if it's a punishment to work here and I'm the cause. Jr Jumbo Jack NOT as advertised! no pickles, no tomatoes, no ketchup. I asked for extras, and didn't get anything that wasn't extras? Seriously I don't think it's rocket science, but maybe it is and the employees aren't qualified. update 1/17/'25 seriously how does this location stay in business!? every time (1-3 times per week) i order online my order sauces are wrong? oh and delivery drivers ask for napkins because my last 2 visits there haven't been any in the bag.. update 2/10/'25 sauces correct to a tee, BUT still a lack of napkins in my sealed pick up order? and as dinky as those napkins are... get the idea? update 3/30/'25 this location seems like they are doing their best to improve the overall service. sauce number correct and... oh lookie here... napkins! Even received a smile and pleasant service! way to go South Jordan... you're almost equal with 56th west and Cedar City! Now the only issue is the dining area cleanliness. update 4/9/'25 9:35am no napkins! terrible! good thing i eat inside... but if my order was actually a carry-out (thumbs down!). and no diet dp AGAIN! someone needs to be fired! drivers may want to ask for napkins! AND the floors feel greasy! update 5/13/'25 seems as though the only time this place is clean is when a regional rep comes to visit. Hopefully he doesn't look at the floors! Today I ordered my usual tacos x3 with a drink and an extra side of jack's birthday tacos. Well I got what I paid for... and since the birthday tacos were free I didn't get them... and still no napkins.

Not a great start for this Jack in the Box...I grew up miles away from JIB headquarters in San Diego. It's a lifetime staple. If you don't know about Secret Sauce, it's time to ask 😉 But onto this visit. Online order. Supposed to be ready 5 after the hour. I ask at 8 after, and they say it's not ready, yet. Ok. So I wait...10+ more minutes. Then I decide to ask again...took 3 minutes or sitting at the counter for them to finally ask. And my food has been sitting in a bag off toward the drive thru for some time. Fries were cold. The rest was fine. Who appeared to be the manager acted like each of the whole two times I inquired in about 20 minutes time that I was a great burden to his time...seems weird, customers are what the time at work is for. I also asked for, Secret Sauce, of course, and again, burden. Then a water cup. Burden. So I would say this was a bad experience--but then, the guy waiting behind me(?) He was asked to drive around to a parking spot from the drive thru because his food wasn't ready. He came into the store after 20 minutes waiting, and they pull his bag off a waiting shelf. Come on JIB. Don't fall into the Utah way. Be better. Be like InNOut. Serve and do well. I want you to stick around. I drove 25 minutes from more south just to visit and I don't think I'll do it again. Luckily there's a JIB coming into Saratoga Springs in January, and hopefully they start better than under 3.5 stars in their first months. Wow...bad start. Better make some changes and create a better reputation.

Had a horrible experience tonight. Went to the drive thru at 2 am during my lunch break as I work graves I waited for over 15 minutes for my food I ordered one item. I get to the window I pay the girl shuts the glass. I wait and wait she comes back around taking orders makes everybody else’s order behind me but I don’t see anyone making mine. She walks off a guy comes around I realize I gotta get back to work as my job has a very strict attendance policy. So I look at the guy and signal him to help. He sees me comes closer like he’s going to open the glass to assist me is what I thought but no he just walks off and goes into the other room. At this point I’m pancaking I gotta get to work I cannot be late to my job without risking losing my job which I do not want to lose. So I honk my horn they both come back around and look directly at me and continue to work and not come to assist to see if I need something or anything I couldn’t believe it. And I get it takes time to make food but 15 minutes for an egg sandwich? I’ve been here many times never has taken that long there was nobody in front of me the place was dead when I got there then a car pulled up behind me. So at this point I have no choice but to drive off without the food I paid for cause I knew my job was more important than a $6 sandwich. But seriously no communication you can’t come to the window I even mouthed I gotta go and he could see I was clearly stressed about time you can’t come up and see what’s going on? There’s obviously an issue if a customer signals you to come there. The customer service is just wow! Very disappointing I really did want my food that I paid for!! Shouldn’t have to be put in a situation where I have to leave without it because I have no other choice because the employees wouldn’t even come to the window to see what’s wrong and when I tried to call nobody...
