Protein Foundry — Restaurant in South Jordan

I’ve been to the protein foundry many times and my experiences vary due to the inconsistent staff. Because it’s often staffed by what seems to be teenagers or very young people who just don’t seem to care or can’t be bothered, today my husband (who is vegan) and I chose to go inside because almost every time we order online something is messed up. We ordered two gourmet toasts and made sure to ask for no cheese on one of them, we waited for about 10-15 minutes despite there being only maybe 2 people ahead of us. When we got them, sure enough the one we ordered without cheese had cheese on it. We brought it back to the front & told them it wasn’t made properly, they apologized, we waited for it to be remade only for it to have a bunch of goat cheese smeared along the bottom half of one of the pieces. By that time we were late to pick up our kids from our sitter so we didn’t have time for them to remake it again so we just left, but we were very disappointed in the food & the service that we received. The people behind the counter seemed annoyed that they had to help us despite it being their mistake in the first place, considering people have dietary restrictions/allergies you would think they would take the necessary precautions. There is an apparent disregard for cross contamination protocols, not to mention they were eating behind the counter as well. Won’t be visiting this...

My friends wanted to come see the new location, so we made the trip out west. I've been to the other location several times and the whole experience is just off for me, so I was at least interested in seeing what the experience here would be.

First off, this place is much less crowded than the other one, we were almost the only ones in for the 45 minutes that we were there. I suppose that is a good thing as things were a little bit faster than the other location. Service level was about the same. Teenage blondes not extremely interested in doing or saying anything beyond the required.

Food was good, although it seems that they use a lot of banana and other fruit to fill up the acai. There just isn't that much acai flavor in the bowl. Seems like the portions are always off as well, rarely do I get the same bowl even when ordering the same menu item.

I would not make the trip out to this location and would only stop by if I were with friends that insisted on going. Disappointed that the experience here hasn't improved...

We order here often and they got my order wrong when it’s clearly stated what I’ve selected. When I tried calling multiple times they don’t reply. I was calling to let them know I’m heading back so they can make the correct order in advance so I don’t have to sit there and wait. I called FIVE TIMES and they didn’t pick up. I had to go back and wait and no apologies were made as to why my order was wrong and no one was replying.

Unsure why this is difficult for them when we give our business to them on a weekly basis and by no means is this place cheap.

This place used to be good but it’s ran by a bunch of teenagers who don’t care about customer service or protocols. The place is a mess, people have attitudes when THEY get your order wrong (gosh forbid I ask for the right order I paid for you have an attitude when it’s your mistake and end up needing to fix it)

What happened here? Why are a bunch of teenagers in charge when clearly they can’t...
