Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings — Restaurant in South Plainfield

Went for a quick bite to eat while Christmas shopping and ordered a small, plain cheese steak. No onions, mushrooms,... Just steak and cheese, sounds easy enough. $14 for this small combo meal (small fries + drink). When the food came, I counted 4 pieces of steak. Both ends of the bun had no meat or cheese on it at all. Brought it back to the counter where the manager didn't seem to care or understand why this was an issue. The cashier on the other hand clearly understood and asked the chef to add more meat.

I understand perfectly that I ordered a small combo... Hence the smallest bread roll. But you can't give me the small roll and then only fill 3/4 of it. I paid for the small bun, so fill that bun.

Didn't end up eating at all, and after the Manager's disappointing attitude, I just asked for a refund.

Have eaten here a few times, food is ok, I'm sure many would go elsewhere but there's just not that many options at this shopping center. Won't be going back to...

My dad Ordered here today (07/12 Sunday/2020) for lunch for the family. The order cost was around $90, not only did they not complete the order but when I called (2:54pm) to complain about a few things missing from my order, immediately the employee I spoke to had an attitude they kept telling me that I was wrong and that I and I quote “I put them in the bag” “I packed them in the bag” this was said to us more than once we checked over and over in our bags but nothing was in the bags like they claimed, no apology was given by anyone, they all had an uptight attitude the whole time.they all felt like we were in the wrong and they were in right which was not the case in anyway shape or form a simple apology would’ve been great instead we received an immaculate amount of immaturity. Very unprofessional staff, Probably won’t be ordering from this...

This was my first time trying this location and it wasn't a bad experience. Although I did enjoy my good, there were a few small errors that won't allow me to go above 4 stars. I specifically asked for the sauce on the cheese fries to be on the side. However the cheese was on top and it was a bit messier than I would've liked. This wasn't a deal breaker since the fries were soggy and still had a good amount of cheese. However she they were unnecessarily messy. Similarly with the sandwich. The flavor was there. The roll was soft. Lettuce was crisp, as was the tomato juicy. Buuuut, the sandwich wasn't evenly sliced. Almost as if they started to cut it and then stopped. Which made a port fall out when I picked it up. So, although minor errors, they were big enough to affect how much I enjoyed the meal. Will I return? I...
