Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in South Strabane Township

My wife and daughter had late lunch there today and we finished and paid with our credit card and was just setting catching up with each other and the manager came to table to tell me my payment didn't go through and she was rude and very loud stating we was going to get a free meal cause we didn't pay and embarrassrd us and when my Daughter and I called her out she walked away laughing why all this was going on my wife was on the phone to confirm payment was made to Applebee's and it was confirmed with a confirmation # we always go to this Applebee's and always leave a good tip was not looking for free meal I expect someone to repremand this lady manager and corporate needs to respond to this matter my family was embarrassed and that I will not tolerate I expect to talk to Justin her manager and corporate I know a lot of people in Washington that will not approve of her behavior. This will not be gone Update I received a call froma manager he said his name was Justin we spoke and he assured me this rude manager would be dealt with and I haven't heard nothing back like I was told by Justin I have gave it ample time and Justin never called me back to let me know she was reprimanded for her unprofessional position so I assume it was not handled so I expect a call from corporate I said I wasn't going to let my family be embarrassed or myself I will not let this go . We have stopped going to Applebee's like I said I keep my word and you will start seeing your customers decline never underestimate the power of words and don't lie to your customers you offered me a free meal for my family and I declined I want her reprimanded and I will except nothing less I will be talking...

This was by far my worst dining experience in a long time. And I'm not that hard to please. We ordered two meals, the Cajun Shrimp $ Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and a rack of ribs with cole slaw & fries. It took a long time for the food to come out from the time we ordered. The garlic mashed potatoes and the ribs both came out cold. I don't ever send food back but they weren't edible at the temp they came out at. So we sent them back. The waitress Deborah seemed annoyed that we didn't want cold food. So she went back, stuck the food in a microwave and brought it back. I could tell it was microwaved because the bones were so hot that I couldn't even touch them and it only took a couple minutes. Then at checkout we used a gift card we recieved as a present as part of our payment along with cash for the remainder of the bill and tip. As we were getting in the car to leave Deborah came running out and said the gift card didn't work. So I gave her my card and told her to put the balance on my card. She said I have to come back in cause she isn't running back and forth. She then put the entire bill on my card when I specifically told her not to. Then she game me $20 cash back and kept the rest as a tip. We used to go here all the time but we won't be going back to this place unless...

If you put a takeout order in at night passed at 9 the staff will not acknowledge your existence when you are sitting in the pickup parking spot. We sat and waited for 15 minutes and I saw multiple staff look at us but nobody came out with our food.

I went inside and asked where our food was, the hostess went into the back for another 10 minutes. She came out saying I had to sign a paper at the bar, but the manager said I didn't have to.

I asked the manager why nobody came outside while I was waiting when their website tells you that someone will be out with your food. He proceeded to tell me that he refuses to send anyone outside passed 9 for pickup orders. He said he does not want to put his staff in a dangerous situation at night. If the manager doesn't want to send staff out at night then HE should be going out.

So not only are the refusing to bring food to the vehicle but they also ignore you outside. Also, we called their phone while we were waiting and nobody answered. So what were we supposed to do in this situation? Moral of the story, don't order online pickup after 9 if you don't want to go in and get your food.
