Potts' Hot Dogs — Restaurant in South Whitehall Township

Really great hot dog and even better service!!!

I went in to try this new spot (for me) and I placed my order and only then realized it was cash only. I asked about an ATM and there was one in the connected ice cream place but it was broken. I told the nice lady that I would run to an ATM and get some cash and come back. She told me "it's ok, you can get us next time, I want you to have the hot dogs when they are hot"

I told her thank you but after she gave me my order I would go get cash and bring it back and she told me not to, it was on her. Can you believe that?

Needless to say, I went and got cash and brought it back and she was shocked to see me but I told her that with her generosity, there was no way I was not getting money and brining it to her.

She was willing to lose money so I could try her hot dogs at their best....

I had to give 1 star simply for my experience today. I have been getting your hotdogs since I was a kid. First when I lived in Bethlehem and now that I'm in this area. I ordered hotdogs today and I don't know what the hell happened. The hotdogs barely seemed cooked. I asked for cheese. I'm used to you cutting open the dog and putting cheese in there. This time There was some gross cheese slathered all over the bun and the dog. This made the whole thing taste nasty. I don't know if this is something that was done because you ran out. Or if it is something new....

The young man who was working on Saturday Nov 21st, had on vinyl gloves to make my hot dogs. That was great. But then he used register, took my money and gave me change still wearing the gloves. Then I saw him handle the next person's food. Shameful! I got the bacon, cheese, and chili dog. The cheese was squirty cheese from a van, the bacon was cold and the precooked kind and the dog itself was luke warm. I'm highly dissapointnent at the Hamilton Blvd location. I am normally a fan of Potts', so I hopeful they retrain this young man...
