Excellent restaurant! Pricey, at $19/adult @ dinner. $15 child.

Heres the process if you've never been bere before, or if you have kids or yourself, are anxiety ridden and are unsure of how to get your food! Gobi is located right next to a convenient guitar center. Should come here with your kids, play some tunes, then go to Gobi Grill! Get seated, order your drinks, and now... Make your way past the big circle. Grab a plate, (one glove for dominant hand, other hand holds the plate) and pickup your food. Right selection is for sauces. Take a sauce cup (these sauces will be cooked into and with your food)

Center and the Right selections are all raw. Which is good, as you bring the food to the chefs in the center circle.

Once you have your raw food ready for cooking, head over to the big circle, one if the chefs will see you, and tell you (and direct you) to a number. Go to that number, place your plate on it. And the chef will take it, cook it, and give you a new plate with your food on it.

notes

Its okay if you end up with a ton of food on your plate. When they cook it, itll shrink tremendously, especially if you picked noodles.

If you want white rice/fried rice, youll have to manually ask the chef (loud talk if busy) for the specifics, ie. (can i have white rice, not fried rice please!).

The plates they give you (for cooked foods) are conveniently oval-shaped.

It takes some time to cook the food, so cme hungry and patient!

The chefs will take notice if you come with a group, and will try and pair/trio you all togetherx so your spots at the circle will be next to you (this isnt something theyre trained, its just courteous nature).

They accept tips. Its really cute how they thank you, i love it! Hope you guys enjoy. Its a great place, worth the money. They are kind and understanding. Sometimes, you might overflow your plate, just dont do it too much.

Im a skinny guy, and my friends egged me onto stuffing myself to the brim. The waitress noticed and allowed me to leave a bit of food on my plate. I think she was more impressed i had 4 plates while being so skinny 😂 😂.

Enjoy friends! Give them tips! (singles is good, they are humble and thankful regardless).

Well deserving of my 5 stsr. Great experience!

Bathrooms are in the back, to the right.

Bring your friends and family! Keep this...

Took my son out to lunch and was not all that happy. On their Facebook page they advertise their pricing and lunch time to be one thing, where as when we got there the pricing and the lunch times were different.

I can understand the pricing going up, especially with COVID. However if a customer is there before the change of lunch to dinner the customer shouldn't have to ask for their bill to be adjusted accordingly. They knew we got there before lunch was over. We only ate lunch size portions even... As we were there FOR LUNCH. The bill was initially nearly $40 for two adult dinners and a soda. I ended up having to ask for a manager.

Manager just kept repeating herself. I tried explaining that it says differently on their Facebook page and she informed me " we don't have a Facebook page" yet there's one up there. I did instruct her to contact Facebook to have it taken down as it misrepresents the business. Doubt that will happen... But she did finally honor the lunch pricing after a much too long discussion.

I had, Lo Mein noodles with beef, broccoli and pineapple topped with teriyaki sauce and my son had similar. The food was good... Certainly not dinner price worthy so if I were to return it would only be for lunch. Worth a try and definitely fun...

The food is excellent! The fact that you choose your own ingredients makes makes sure you only get what you want. Some advice:

  1. skip the salad bar. Though it is very fresh, it's not really why you came here, right?

  2. despite the way the buffet is organized start with putting your proteins on your plate first. This is usually the last thing you get, but if you pile your plate high with veggies, the proteins will just slide off. If you get them first, as they are flat, you can put veggies on top easily.

  3. don't be shy about piling stuff on your plate. It will cook down, and the serving plate the put your food on at the end is much bigger.

  4. mix sauces! The sauces are all pretty good on their own, but the flavors you can get from combining them can be even better.

  5. bring your kids. Children's prices are reasonable, and the fact that they choose their own mix of ingredients AND get to watch someone cook them is a win-win situation. My five year old was entranced, and ate everything on her plate. She isn't a really picky eater, but getting her to finish her food can be a challenge.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something that is a little out of the ordinary, but with...
