Dollar General — Local services in Southington

TLDR: staff was incredibly friendly but istle were cluttered. I walked into the store knowing that there was an item on sale for 50% off original price (3 1.50). The item did not ring up correctly so who I can assume the manager came over. Looked at the sign and over-rode the items to make them the correct price. All 17 of them. On top of that after you make a purchase there is a $5 of 25 coupon that you receive on the bottom of your receipt. They had a few floating around and without me asking the manager offered to put one onto my order as it qualified. I walked out of the store with a original total of something around $54 and only ended up paying $29. The only complaint I have is that some of the istle were cluttered with product carts. However that is wider problem with dollar general because I have seen it at other stores. Overall...

I went to this store for the first time yesterday with my client that is in a wheelchair. The isles were blocked with piles of stuff on the floor. Could not navigate through this messy store. When it came time to pay the cashier, on older lady, could not be bothered to stop what she was doing to ring up our items. She had someone else come over and do it instead. There were two young men that were friendly and helpful. The two ladies working had horrible attitudes like we were inconveniencing them by being there. They should know without the customers they wouldn't have a job. I will not be returning. If you have to use a walker or wheelchair the store is inaccessible. I hope the store gets better help and cleans this...

This is a brand new Dollar General to the Southington-Waterbury area. Its by far the largest and well organized Dollar General I've seen. They have a huge refrigerator-freezer section. They have many mini branded drink coolers throughout the store (one of the only Dollar Generals that I found that had Mountain Dew Kickstart in a cooler cold). Each aisle was neatly stocked and not many shelves were empty. All product was fronted to front of each shelf.

I was able to find everything I needed and much more to look through that I didnt have time to do. Everyone was really nice to talk with and this is really a great spot in Southington to have this. Will come here anytime I'm driving by for some quick...
