Absoultely amazing, read the full review. I ordered from Armend's last night for the first time. My girlfriend is from New York and she wants Pizza all the time. I ordered their Deep Dish via Uber Eats. It all seemed to be goign well but I was wondering why pickup by my driver took so long. I saw him driving around for like 30 minutes within close proximity of Armend's. I called the place and asked if it had been picked up. The owner said it's ready and sitting there. I waited another 10 minutes and got a cancellation notification from Uber. The driver has cancelled to pickup the order, can you believe that. The store spend the time and money to make the Pizza and the driver cancels to pickup the order. Anyway, I called Armend's again and asked what's going on, owner said he doesn't know but it happens all the time. He asked me where I live and I told him within a mile. He said, let me do you a solid and make you a fresh one and I will personally deliver it. I said I can come and pick it up but he insisted. A little bit later he showed up with a fresh made hot Deep Dish Pizza at my door. What a wonderful stand up guy. True Customer service. If you guys are reading this all the way to the end, go support this guy, the Pizza was awesome and he deserves this! I will be going to Dine-In with Armend's next and see what other good...
Read moreWent there to celebrate a birthday for my uncle - ordered the fettuccine. Got a bowl of sauce and about fifteen noodles for $14. No itemized receipt - it was a big party so they asked us to come up to the front and break up the check - each of us received a receipt blank except for what they were charging. This allowed them to very sneakily squeeze a double tip out of everyone but me at the party. You see, Armends is well aware they include a 20% gratuity automatically, but were happy to sit there and smile with a completely blank receipt, knowing a tip has already been charged, while customers pay a tip on top of a tip. I wish I hadn't left early to get the cake for the party or I would have warned everyone else.
