New to Spanish Fork and I had heard amazing things about DP. I was super stoked to give it a go. I ordered a classic cheesesteak without onions or peppers for the kids and it had onions which wouldn't have been a problem but they were embedded in the melted cheese making it a pain to "get them all" per the 4yo request. I asked the kid taking my order what a popular choice was and he recommended the garlic cheesesteak. There was 0 garlic flavor. I read it was a garlic sauce and both sandwiches were dry as could be. Not sure if this is their norm and maybe we just don't understand the hype at all? I've read many different, more pleasant experiences leading me to think that it's not though. Read moreThis place is the best ever! I've had Cheesteaks back east from the "originals" and I would pick Utah's own every single time! Their steaks are the best, the pepper dip is to die for with the perfect amount of heat. Make sure to get the large because not only will you eat the entire thing, but if there's a bit left over, you have some for later (which you'll be craving). The staff is also incredible! Every location I've been to has great customer service, is friendly, and the restaurant is always impeccably clean....

While located in a gas station, it didn't seem like gas station food. But we both felt they were under seasoned and had way too many onions. I won't seek this place out and may never go again. But...
