This place is extremely small. We made reservations for 8pm for a jazz performer which was $10 each person. The jazz player wasn't even set up when we arrived. No waiter or waitress ever came to check on us after being seated until 20 mins later then the manager came over and asked has anyone checked on us after telling him no he took our drink orders and appetizer order. Then 10 mins later the waitress comes and we inform her that we had our drink and appetizer order already taken and asked her if we could go ahead and place our dinner order while she was there seeing that she didn't care if we were waited on or not. The food that we wanted she stated they just sold the last of. So why allow people to make reservations if you're not prepared to serve or have the adequate amount of food for such event. The manager came and brought "complimentary honey cornbread" which was basically a small plate of crumbs. Literally crumbs it wasn't even held together like someone just broke it off with their hands. After the waitress said they were out of the items that we wanted we asked her to come back so we could look over the menu again. She NEVER CAME BACK. The manager came back to the table and asked if were ok. We asked for the check. He brought the check which was $66 for 2 cocktails and an appetizer.. they never informed us there would be an $5 upcharge for the liquor that was put in the cocktails. This was our first time going there and over an hour drive only to disappointed and it seemed no one gave a damn. $86 total for a unprepared jazz performer that was mediocre 2 cocktails and an appetizer that was super salty. Such a disappointment. The place is so small inside you literally can't get through to get to your table or get out without someone having to get up. I really hate I wasted money on this place. No apologies were ever given. No mention of an 18% gratuity charge for 2 people. There were large parties in there that were getting excellent service and attention while we were ignored. There is also a service charge which is a joke considering the crappy service we received and also a SC Sales + hospitality tax. As a nurse I can definitely tell you they lack hospitality. They have no parking. You have to park across a busy street at an abandoned old car wash which was very sketchy because it's so dark and barely any...
Read moreLet me start by telling you that 18% gratuity is charged on all bills and do not tip extra unless you really mean to...Here's my story... My husband and brother took me for my birthday, Wednesday night. Made reservations but certainly didn't need them as there was only one other couple seated. Place was modern and cool when we walked in. Folks were welcoming. Server, Kiara, was very nice. Bartender couldn't make us Vodka Tonics...they didn't know what tonic was or have it. We tried to order deviled eggs, they were out of the bacon and jalapenos. Kiara felt the need to keep apologizing (not her fault). We were offered birthday shots and thought that was really nice. Menu looked good but they were out of a couple of other things too. By the time our food did come out, I wasn't really hungry anymore. The manager stated he would give us a discount on our entrees since it took longer than normal. The bill came, my husband grabbed it and paid. We thought it was a little steep but we were tired and ready to go, so we thanked them and left. I found the receipt today, Sunday, and see the reason why the bill was so high. We were charged for the "birthday shots" and along with all the extra taxes and fees that SC charges everyone, I noticed there was already an 18% gratuity added. My husband had placed an addtl 20% to the bill...so Kiara received a $60 tip, which we would have never done. I called to speak to a manager and ask for the addtl gratuity to be refunded and was basically schooled for a few moments, that the info is on their website, and then asked if the bill was presented to my husband (in other words...it's on us). At this point, I did not feel the need to be spoken down to anymore and decided to hang up since, obviously, I wasn't getting anywhere. PS...we were a little frustrated that they were training folks while we were trying to enjoy the little bit of experience we did have. PSS...we had discussed trying their Brunch, in hopes for a different experience...but that will not be...
Read moreLast Saturday, my hubby and I slid into Euphoria Cocktail Room for date night, and let me tell you—it lived up to its name. From the very first bite, the vibe was sultry and the food indulgent.
We started with the appetizer cornbread, warm, golden, drizzled with honey, then kissed with a sprinkle of cinnamon. It was sweet, soft, and dangerously addictive. The candied bacon jalapeño deviled eggs came next, creamy, crunchy, and with a little heat in it’s bite! Then came the collard green & turkey dip, which was bold, rich, and had us scooping every last bite with those pita chips.
The surf & turf sliders and lemon pepper wings—juicy and flavorful. Each dish felt like it was made for sharing, perfect for leaning in close and stealing bites off each other’s plates 😉.
As we were taking in the vibes and ambiance we thought about how Chef Jaelyn himself appeared with our cornbread and how he was Professional, personable, and full of charm—he didn’t just serve food, he served an experience. Every recommendation he made was spot on, and every dish was as good as he promised.
Between the atmosphere, the flavors, and the music, Euphoria turned our Saturday into a night of indulgence.
