UPDATED: Forgot to bring my lunch to work so I decided to try Panera again, mostly because this is one of the healthier "fast food" options, and I only get 45min for lunch... Ordered the same thing I have in the past; Ham&Swiss on rye, no onions, just a little bit of mayo&mustard... got back to work and opened my sandwich to find onions, gobs of mayo&mustard, and it was not on rye bread... Not only that, but I had to take apart the sandwich and re-make it because everything was falling apart... AND I also had to ask twice for the water I ordered because initially they didn't give it to me... and the bag the cookie came in was smeared with some sort of orange-red sauce (buffalo sauce, maybe?)... I don't know who owns/manages this Panera, but it is one of the worst ones I have ever been to...
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Drive through line didn't move for quite a while, so parked and went inside instead. Waited a little longer than usual for my sandwich. While waiting I noticed that the receipt said "NO Spicy mustard... light mayo". It was supposed to be "light spicy mustard... light mayo". I told the people making the sandwiches about the mistake, and they said they would fix it. When I get back to work I open my sandwich to find there was no mustard. In addition, they didn't even bother to spread the mayo over the whole slice of bread. I don't go to a place and order a sandwich just so I get a wrong order and then have to re-make it myself. This is unfortunately not the first time this has happened to me at Panera (in general, but also at this one...
Read moreI used to give this store a 5 star but here in the last few months the service mostly has declined . We go here at least once a week in the evening, they never greet you, seem to not care about helping you, hardly smile . Last night the girl behind the counter never said hello ,never asked us what we would like. I waited to see if she would . Finally I said hello ,how are you . She then said what do you want. I looked for a manager but none was to be seen. We ordered, our meal was brought out but there were no napkins anywhere. I went to the kitchen counter to ask the employees there and they were having a fun time in the kitchen . I waited 5 minutes until anyone noticed me. The food was smaller than normal portions. Last week, the order came out without the chicken on the salad. When I took it back to the kitchen, the male employee said the order was right. The order was not right but he continued to argue, then he said whatever . It was very embarrassing for the other employees. I'm pretty sure we will be going to other similar restaurants now. Something wrong has happened to a great place. It starts with good management. I worked in the restaurant business for a long time and each time learned that for the customer to come back you've got to treat them with consistent service and good food and a happy group of employees. We eat out just about every night during the week , and other restaurants surpass PANERA BREAD IN THEIR SERVICE AREA. HOPE THIS IS TAKEN AS...
Read more11/17/17 I just went through drive thru, but there were only a four cars in line and two of them were ahead of me. It took 10 minutes to get my food and had to ask the guy at the window to check for rewards on my account. When he handed me my bag, I found that my toasted avacado blt that he stated had been toasted was stone cold. I had to ask for chips to go with the pick 2 since they didn't ask my preference at check out. Disappointed. First time at this Panera.
UPDATE! 1/19/18 actually went in and the girl waiting on us obviously wanted to be somewhere else..yawning and not very friendly. The manager seemed annoyed to have to come from the back to correct the order after my guest changed her mind because of ingredients in what she ordered. The floors and drink area were extremely dirty. Soup wasn't very hot but I'm sure they would've corrected that if I addressed it. I would give this Panera 2 stars out of all the others I've been too I was not impressed. I felt like it was a result of the management team based on what I observed...
