First my then boyfriend gave me diamond earrings for my birthday that had the screw on posts but they would not fit in my ears. When we took them back we were told it would take "a few days" for them to change out the posts. It took over 2 weeks. Fast forward to getting wedding rings from there. I had heirloom diamonds that I wanted to use in my band. First issue was it was prong set & not channel set like it was supposed to be. It said channel set bigger than life on the receipt. But because they are so slow, it was not ready until 2 days before the wedding and we did not have time for them to reset it. We took it back to them to have it set the way it was supposed to have been the first time when we returned from our honeymoon. It again too over 2 weeks to get it "fixed'. I was never happy with it was it seemed to thick and my engagement ring didn't sit right with it being that thick but I was told that was "how it had to be." Fast forward 5 months after getting it for the second time and I find out that the rhodium plating is ALREADY coming off. I then find out that not only is the rhodium coming off, but it is set in YELLOW gold instead of WHITE GOLD like it was supposed to be. PLUS in that same amount of time 2 of my heirloom diamonds were already loose. Read moreMy soon-to-be fiance found Diamond Couture after stopping in at some of the big name chain jewelry stores in Spartanburg, and thank God he did. We have been together off and on for 9 years and are FINALLY planning our wedding. I had been pep talking him for months, dropping not-so-subtle hints about what I really wanted in an engagement ring (Simple, single round solitare in platinum because I'm highly allergic to any form of gold). He told the staff at Diamond Couture what I wanted and they made it happen, in a big way! I went in to be sized, and Sunny showed us our options and we decided on .75 carats and prepaid for the ring. We were told it could take up to 5 weeks, which was fine. I anxiously awaited their calls, and went up there one time to talk about settings and to look over some possibilities. Two weeks after we ordered it, we got the call that it was in, and they wanted us to come look at the stone before it was set. Because of supply and demand, Sunny was able to get us a 1.0 carat instead of the .75 carat we were expecting. They set it for us while we waited, and needless to say I am one very happy girl!
