Listen. When a crew of sleep-deprived, caffeine-fueled sister-in-) Laws, escape the house without packing Goldfish crackers or emergency wet wipes, you better believe we’re gonna make it count. And Leones’? BABE. This place delivered.

From the adorable boutique-y brick front to the orange door that basically whispers “you’re safe here, bestie,” we knew we were in for a vibe shift. Inside: charming, local, small-batch magic that just gets you. You want wildflower honey lavender? They've got it. Something chocolatey and sinful you don’t have to share with tiny sticky hands? Done. Dairy-free for that one sister-in-law who’s “not officially vegan but just feels better without it”? Covered.

We sat on the bench outside like the empowered queens we are, pretending we weren’t texting our husbands to check if the toddler had napped. For a fleeting 17 minutes, we were just women—laughing, living, licking artisan cones like it was 2010 and we still had cartilage in our knees.

Highly recommend. Bring your sisters, your soul, and maybe a spare napkin—because some drips...

Great little "designer" ice cream store. Only 8 flavors when we stopped, but I've never seen some of these flavors anywhere before. I'm a chocolate fan so had the chocolate M&M (simple flavor) but my wife tried the honey salted cashew which she let me steal a bite, it was an incredible, simple flavor combination that made me wish I had not opted for the chocolate. If you love crafted ice cream, this is the place to stop and try! We'll be back! We also managed to catch a double rainbow on the way out....

UPDATE

Stopped back into Leones' a year later and they are still at it, as good as ever! We stopped in on two different nights so we could try different flavors and all were excellent and never seen before. The blackberry lemon was smooth, crisp and delicious while the red white and blueberry was fruity from top to bottom. This is and always will be a must-stop for us whenever...

Grew up in the area and I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. Leones!! They have so many options that you’d never consider at a traditional small town ice cream shop. One week they’ll have toffee ice cream with caramel and the next week they may have cotton candy ice cream with chocolate brownies (maybe I’m making up the second one) but their combinations are endless!

If wacky new flavors aren’t your speed, they ALWAYS have classic and creamy flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and much much more! They have floats too if that’s your style.

During the summer, they have beautiful outdoor seating next to their Koi pond, it’s such a pretty little area to sit in while eating ice cream.
