McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Speedway

I just left this store. After arriving at 6:05 pm I sat to wait for my food. The staff was limited and “SLOW” and extremely confused. Myself and many other customers were sitting for a long period of time. Two people before me were waiting longer than myself and I got called up before them. NOT COOL! Then as we sat and sat, a lot of teenagers in side seemingly to hang out, a female employee was doing zero work and flirting with all these boys while walking up front and grabbing cookies and whatever even got a pink lemonade with no lid and was giving these boys the stuff for free. Customers in line customers waiting and employees just wondering around. Behind the counter was purely a confused mess!! And you could see the frustration on the cooks. McCallisters has a very good reputation and this new store is nice and big. But a bunch of kids running things here are making the management look like they have no control and that the training was poor. I received my hot sandwich COLD and incorrect. Tossed in in my trash. I called and spoke to a manager. He was very nice and offered me free food for my disappointment. But I explained I was not calling for anything free. I wanted him to get ahold of his staff to pull it together. Speedway needed a McCallisters . But it won’t last long with what we all witnessed tonight I walked away at a quarter til 8:pm ridiculous. The service was terrible my sandwich had to be remade 3 times!!!! And the manager was IN THE KITCHEN THE WHOLE TIME !! The cashier was absolutely wonderful, so kind and accommodating as she could be. The manager took the 2nd sandwich that was remade which was turkey, avocado, tomato and bacon with sauce on the side and the sauce was not on the side it was clearly on the sandwich... she brought THE SAME SANDWICH back out w it wiped off but forgot to wipe the sauce off of the bottom piece of bread as she told me that she remade this herself for the THIRD time until I showed her that the sauce was still on the bottom of the sandwich smh. I just asked for a refund on that sandwich which she did w no problems.. my boyfriend's sandwich was great though! He got the Turkey w avocado and bacon w broccoli and cheese soup which was cold. I also ordered the potato soup.. it was as expected w no problems just a 1/3 of the way full.. but maybe that's how it comes w the half and half combo 🤷🏽‍♀️. The cashier told me that the kitchen staff was all new but I would expect if the store manager is back there w them it should've been executed much better! The manager told me herself that they were really busy and I'd have to wait when I asked for a reciept but they def were not...

DO NOT EAT HERE!! I had ordered from this location through Door Dash. I have never had an issue with my orders when they came from the Avon location. As another reviewer mentioned, the customer service at this is TERRIBLE! Not only did they not prepare a whole sandwich and soup for my order, but when I called and reluctantly agreed to pick it up, they still hadn't prepared my order. In total I devoted almost 2 hours for a sandwich and soup that I ultimately never received. James, the manager, is who I spoke with. I am not impressed with him or his staff and I definitely felt that he wasted my time which is limited given this took place during my work day.

I will NEVER eat here and STRONGLY ADVISE you to save your time and do the same. Thankfully through Door Dash I was able to have my money refunded. I also plan to let the corporate office know of my displeasure of...
