The Sundaes are only 3 ounces now...3 ounces, that's less than 1/2 cup. For $2.50. I hadn't ordered one in years, but my little cousins asked if I would get them each one.
When the guy handed me the first one, I looked at it and started to hand it back to him, and I told him, " Oh, you accidentally forgot to fill the other half." (I thought he had filled half of it, added a little bit of fudge sauce, forgot to add the other half and accidentally handed it to me.) He said, "No, that's filled."... I was still confused. All I can think was... " Is McDonald's knowingly feeling half of their Sundae cups?".... This couldn't be right and I mumbled something to him, I can't remember what, something along the lines of, "I'm confused explain this to me again" and he called over his manager, who happened to be standing next to him and the manager said "Yes that's 3 oz, our machine measures out exactly 3 ounces" I said "You're knowingly only putting 3 oz in a 1 cup container? Am I understanding this correctly?" He replied," Yes, that's McDonald's policy." What a complete and total embarrassment for McDonald's to purposely look so incredibly cheap. I understand making a profit, I'm in business, but I wouldn't purposely cheat my clients and SHOW them that I am cheating them. At least have enough self-respect to change the containers so you're not handing somebody a half empty container and saying, "It's McDonald's policy that we only put 3 oz of ice cream in each container." So for $5, I got just a little over half a cup of ice cream for TWO Sundaes. Just stunning... oh, and add to that, they got the rest of my order wrong as well. Read moreIn general McDonald’s is a great staple for those times when our family is looking for a quick meal. Moderate pricing and deals that can make a trip more affordable. For a dining in experience however I would have to give thumbs down at the Oregon location in Spokane Valley. This store is a tigh not community of employees who’s focuses on each other and drive thru business instead of the customer. We have been in several times the staff are more busy socializing with each other than on the customer experience.
Each time at drive they no longer is there joyful greetings at the window, but a push to end the transaction with no joy in the exchange at all. On our latest trip, prior to Covid we walked in for service and the entire staff was gathered around a back area drive thru talking. No greeting and after a minute of standing at the counter we found ourselves walking back towards the self-serve order counter to order our meal. As we did so another staff member walked in and suddenly the entire team was shouting hello to him. We turned around and left and went over to the local Denny’s where we paid close to the same price for our meal and actually had a very enjoyable dining experience. We did reach out to the corporate and local office where as we were not even acknowledged that there was an issue. It will be a longer time before we go again . We as a family who budget our entertainment are driving our spenditures to local business that are growing the customer experience whether...
Read moreso after waiting 10mins for fresh food, I asked for my money back. the employee went back into restaurant to get my change, meanwhile it was taking more than 5 mins for her to return with my change. so I went into restaurant and asked what was taking so long for my refund. she hands me my change and walks away when im trying to talk. RUDE! so I park my car, call restaurant and mngr says I will remake your food. I said thatd be great. not even 2mins later shes bringing my food out. I was trying to figure out how they cooked it so quickly! well I tell you exactly what happened. they never remade my food, they just put hot fries in the bag and never even re-cooked anything! tastes like crap! and to top it all off, I get home and find a rotting opened bag of apples in my 5 year olds happy meal! we will never eat at this location ever again! not only was the food old, cold, and crappy. but how can you call it a happy meal? they need to change and call it a crappy meal! yuck! this is not my first unpleasant experience with this location, this is approx. number 10! wish I could download pic I took of the apples. gross! if my child would have eaten the apples and got sick, what would they have done then? probably just would have gave us free crappy food cards! they need to shut that...
