I have just so happened to try and visit panda express close to the closing time of 10:30 the last htree times ive tried to eat at the valley establishment. And all three times i have showed up between 10:10 and 10:20 and all three times i pull up to the drive through speaker and i get no greeting, no voice at all. And all three times all the buildings lights are and on and that is including the OPEN SIGN. Even though i get no response whatsoever after sitting at the speaker for a few minutes i wait paitently for a few more minutes. All three times i have had atleast one car behind me in the drive thru also wanting to order since it is in their operating hours. I would pull up to the window after awhile and there is atleast one employee right by the window. Everytime the employee will acknowlege that i am sittinf at the window staring in ovbiously wondering what is going on, and not once has the employee opened the window and told me they are closed or if they dont have the food ready to serve anymore. The employee/employees look at me and turn their back and walk away and ignore me. This specific time i even knocked on the window since the employees back was turned to me. And the knocking got her attention and she still decided to turn her back and walk away and ignore me and proceed to go do another task on the food line. I feel that shows absolutly unacceptable customer service. Having someone turn their back and walk away and ignore me i take as major disrespect from a person in the industry of customer service. If the hours of operation end at 10:30pm i would expect to be able to order and get served food up until 10:30pm. And if that is untrue i would say the hours of operation need to change and end at a earlier time. But as of these last three visits if mine, i would hope that the employee could atleast give me the courtesy of opening the window that i am sitting at and telling me that they are no able to take orders or serve me beacuse the food is already off the line and put away and a quick apology for the inconvenience. If i were to atleast get some interaction from the employee; besides the quick eye contact after knocking in the window and them walking away and ignoring me; i would be happy and content with the service. Although i would hope that they could get on the drive thru speaker when i first pull up and let me know whats going on. But no interaction whatsoever i feel is unacceptable and needs to be addressed and upon these situations happening, some action needs to be taken.
I do take responsibility on my part of showing up so close to closing time. I show up to the buisness as quick as i can after i get off work, and i make it a point to only attempt to order as long as i show up during their posted buisness hours. I will try my best to show up earlier if i ever decide to return to this location to try and buy food for my family and i for dinner after i finish a long day of work.
If you are looking for a place to get some food and have good customer service while doing so; you need to go to a different restaurant, or atleast a different location.
I AM VERY UNHAPPY AND DISSAPPOINTED THE LAST THREE VISTS TO BROADWAY AND SULLIVAN PANDA EXPRESS LOCATION ...
Read moreWow! I reviewed this place a few weeks ago and swore I would never come back, but I did because it was close to where I wanted to be and I'd been at other Panda expresses earlier in the day around the city and sometimes the food just smells so good and you think it's healthy that I was willing to give this place another chance. Here's the scene, I walk in and the first thing I notice off to my left is about 4 at least 4 DoorDash or Uber eats delivery drivers waiting for their orders and then I see five people in line waiting to order on the opposite end of the serving line and I see like three people maybe four in the serving area one of them is on the phone and trying to dish chow mein into a plate while he's talking to somebody on the phone and struggling with that and the others I swear look like zombies. If this was reincarnated as a zombie Panda Express it would have fit the bill perfectly no one seemed to be moving fast no one looked up to greet you no one seemed to be concerned that people were lined up for food and there was heaps of food in the serving plates if. If you've ever been to Panda Express you know what I mean there was plenty of food but it was just so slow to get anybody to do anything. I actually just walked out and did not order a thing. It's the Panda Express off of Sullivan Road on Broadway in Spokane Washington, and that place sorely needs either more staff more leadership or something so that they are enthusiastically providing excellent customer service. All it takes is you to look at me and say I'm so sorry it's going to take a while we'll be right with you or would be with you as soon as we can just to look like that and a nod or a brief comment makes all the difference in the world in people's demeanor when they're waiting and seeing people who don't look like they care whether I'm waiting or not. Sorry I don't mean to go on a rant but this was just the epitome of poor poor poor...
Read moreTheo at the drive thru does not understand what anyone is saying. This has happened on three different occasions with him. After several attempts at the speaker to get him to type in the correct order, it was completely wrong and different by the time we got to the window and had a higher price of more than $5.00 added on for things we did not order. He does not understand, and should not be working at the drive thru. It is a torturous nightmare trying to convey something to him. There was a girl at the window the other day, and I had very clearly said that I wanted a diet coke. I am diabetic. She hands me my two bags of food, but did not give me my drink. I told her I bought and paid for a drink, and after almost five minutes, she finally hands it to me. I tasted it, and it was not diet. I handed it back to her, and I explained that what she gave me was not diet. She looked at me and told me she would go get the manager. For what? All I wanted was a diet coke. So he comes to the window and she looks at him and says "She does not like our diet Coke." He said he would go get it from a different machine. He didn't even listen to me to let me explain to him that she never gave me a diet coke in the first place. So then I had to wait forever for him to get it from another machine. The girl could not understand or comprehend was I was trying to tell her, and the manager wouldn't take a moment to listen to me. I have been going to this Panda location ever since it first opened. The food used to be great, no over salting, not burned, and the employees were very helpful and top notch, and understood English perfectly. I never had an incorrect order. The food and the employees ability to listen and comprehend is null. The only excellent employee is Gilbert. We were going a few times a week, but will not...
