I lived in San Diego for 20 yrs before retiring up in the Pacific Northwest, & now the Spokane area. Anyone from San Diego will tell you there is no better Baja & Mexican food to be found, any where else! Believe me I've tried! I'd give anything for a Rubio's around these parts - or the equivalent! The Pacific Northwest is just not the place to find good Mexican. 🙁 But my craving for anything close has gone unmet..... until I found THIS place - Fiesta Mexicana! It's still not really true Baja mexican, but it's damn close!! Fresh ingredients that are not drowned in sauce! Their salsa & homemade chips are the real deal, & their portions are very generous! They have very courteous & efficient staff, w/a beautiful outside patio for warm days. Add any number of their delicious Margarita's , and you've found a tiny slice of heaven! Thanks...
Read moreMy son found this restaurant listed on Google maps while he, my husband, and I were in the Spokane area visiting family. This restaurant is very nice. My son was greeted at the door with a very friendly "Good morning, Amigo!" We were seated right away and were given a basket of warm chips with salsa and a dip of refried beans on the side. I ordered the combination plate of 2 cheese enchiladas, rice, and beans. Our son ordered the combination of a cheese enchilada Chile relleno, tamale, rice, and beans, and my husband ordered a spicy shrimp dish with habanero chiles and rice. We all liked our food very much. Our server was a very friendly and accommodating young lady. This restaurant has lots of warmth and charm and it is cheerfully decorated. We had a great experience there, and we will come back again if we're...

Then that was the end of the service over 20 minutes. Servers kept walking by our menu's pushed to the very edge of our table After continuing to look eye to eye with every employee walking by, PLUS the Owner and/or Manager, we were finally helped. Got their "Most Reqested" burrito on the menu. The worst "red sauce " I have ever had, tasted like diced tomatoes strained from the can. Old brown chopped lettuce topped the burrito with I think a teaspoon each of S.C & Quac. The meal came to $29, being a server in my past, I can not tip. Worst service ever, still gave her $4. Service and quality of food like this deserve a...
