11/16 Edit - went back because saw owner was there and cooking. A million times better. Makes a big difference in quality and customer service. As long as she's there and cooking, I'll be back. Pork fried rice was delicious and worth the cost. Definitely stop by since ojuma is cooking!
Edit- ordered online and when I got there to pick it up, one of the women who work there gave me a mad/frustrated stare, lean on counter with two hands, head hanging, and hard sigh/deep breath- then proceeded to tell me that they can't give me what I ordered. Asked me, did I order it online? Yes, clearly. Did I pay extra? No, for what? Well, we have to charge extra, you can't get two meats....proceeds to tell me how I can't get what I ordered, and I should call it in so they can charge me more. Ok- or, you could fix your website? Said none of what was in my head, but agreed and apologized and took a bowl that was already made that had one meat. Anyway, I didn't expect 'extra', just two meats for my one bowl like the website said was possible- it gave me options, I picked them and pre-paid. Again, fix your ordering system....Anyway, don't plan on going back. Food is alright, you don't really get much any for what you pay, and that woman just rubbed me the wrong way- she was trying to be 'friendly', but tone, body language, eyes all said otherwise- it felt unpleasant. I digress.
Food is decent. Prices have gone up and menu changed a bit (used to go for their kimchi pork fried rice, but no longer on menu), so don't frequent as much. If you work in bldg or are there for some sort of appt, consider stopping by. The ladies working there...
Read moreA few months ago I would have given this restaurant a 10 star review. I'm giving 3 Stars because the food is still good and the restaurant itself has a pleasant atmosphere. However; since change of ownership the service and organizational skills have taken a nose dive. I have eaten in or from this establishment weekly/daily (minus COVID) for almost 4 years as I work in the building; it was AMAZING, excellent food and customer service was of gold star excellence. As of lately if a certain staff person, who has always worked there is not there, the place is a train wreck without her. Wait times are ridiculous, my order has been wrong on numerous occasions prices have been upped a dollar or more (This I get, inflation) and now they even have a fee for take out that they never had before. Open times have become inconsistent, food items are not on hand (was never a problem before, not once). Owner (at least that's who I think it is, does not seem to have a clue as how to run/manage a restaurant.. I have seen/heard owner yell at and belittle new staff (as well as old staff) in front of customers. It saddens me deeply to write this review and I waited months to do so to see if things picked up as I understand change of ownership can be a...
Read moreI spent $14 on a sandwich. I asked for just water. It's 90 outside. Man gave me a very small Styrofoam cup and pointed me to the soda dispenser. I needed more water half way through my meal. I went up for more water. It was now being serviced by outside tech that said it was broke. He instructed me to the man at the counter. The guy at the counter told me to use the waterfountain out front as he pointed out the door. That's DEFINITELY my first and last time eating there. Horrible. It's 90 outside too! Food was...
