Took the family to breakfast this last Saturday. We were the only ones there as we arrived a bit early for a Saturday.
There was just the one gentleman there, who I assume was bussing tables and doing the cooking at the time. The service was good, they just needed more servers. This became more apparent as more folks started showing up and orders took a bit longer than expected.
No matter though, as the food was FANTASTIC!!
We all had different things with my little one having waffles (boring lol), my oldest had the breakfast burrito which she loved, but could not finish since it was so big (That is a good problem to have, and one for dad to solve ;-)
I forgot what my wife had because I was so evolved with my "Chicharron Gorditas" that I completely blocked off the world around me and just indulged in the incredible taste party going on in my mouth! The Chicharron was cooked soft which made it much much more flavorful and the sauce! Something about that sauce!! It was spicy, but I love spicy and it was just bursting with more flavors that mix into the Chicharron and soak into the tortilla in the most delightful way.

Read moreI’m adding to my previous review. This was my choice for a restaurant to go to my birthday lunch. It was a great birthday! Rosie and the crew are always so welcoming, and the food never disappoints! Thank you, thank you thank you for making my birthday, a most pleasant one!
I love this place! The food is really good! The service is really good. The servers are always available but not hovering. That’s important! They always smile! But now back to the food. I’ve had various dishes here, and I’ve always been pleased. The food is fresh, it arrives hot and there is plenty of it. I always bring some home. The prices are good as well. I’m so happy that I have discovered this place! Parking is convenient. It’s conveniently right by a bus stop for people to take the bus. #4 stops nearly at...
Read moreNo queria cocinar y se me antojo unas enchiladas....so I got take out. Well, I always try to check out new local mexican in Spokane. La Dona definitely hit the spot. The enchiladas had a great chicken texture with excellent flavor and the sauce was delicious. I ordered Suiza & Mole --try both! If you are Sacred Heart or Deaconess, just go up the hill a little and you will find this hidden gem. The location is the perfect place to eat on the Southill, especially after kids sports or events or you are finding somewhere to take your out of town family to dinner. Staff spoke Spanish and were very hospitable; the place had great vibes and music! Let's support our Southhill restaurants!! Thank...
