Very clean, including the ladies room. Lots of help and service/attitude was exceptional. This restaurant is an hour away from home, so I don't eat here often. It had been such a great experience in the past, I brought my neighbor here for a birthday meal. The only shrimp was mixed in with the Crab Royale and people had picked most of them out for this reason. The only other shrimp was the cold, peel and eat stuff. This was the first restaurant I had tried Egg Foo Yung in a few years back and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Now, instead of putting the gravy on the side, they soak the veggie omelets in the gravy in one pan. Huge disappointment. The generous portions, beautifully puffed, full of veggies omlets were cold and the gravy ruined them. Unfortunately, most of the food was cold. So much so that I told the server. She told a few others and a couple people came and explained to me that there wwere so many people, they turned the A/C down and that affects the food temp. They turned up all the steam tables and you could see the steam rising from them. They aslo recommended stirring the food to get to the bottom. Many options for sushi, but none is labeled, so you don't know what each one is. Minimal seaweed in them. I like the nutrition of seaweed, so that was a disappointment. It was still good, though and went well with all the other cold foods. The pizza was nice. Pepperoni, a little oily and crust was thin and delicious. I love cold pizza. Instant mashed potatoes were runny. Roast sirloin pork was perfectly sliced, tender, and in a sweet gravy with a few welcomed sliced jalapeños that countered the sweetness. Typical fried rice, yellow with some peas/carrots. No egg and no flavor. The cold food ruined the experience. I will appreciate the Ocala buffets more now and they are only 35 miles away. Glad we went, but likely...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve had at a buffet before. Walking in I see a sign that says the all day Mother’s Day special is $19.99 for everybody due to there being extra items on the buffet such as frog legs, steak, etc, however after seated and beginning to browse the buffet I realized none of the special items listed were on the buffet and the items that were on the buffet looked like the last of scraps that have been sitting out all day, I decided I would try the safe option of hibachi and was highly disappointed when the grill cook took my plate started cooking and then bent down and started cleaning the floor with a rag (while wearing gloves) then while wearing the same dripping wet gloves, began mixing my food while dripping liquid from his gloves into my food. I quietly walked to the front counter, told the server the situation and that I no longer wanted any food and I would like my bill. They began laughing saying they were not able to do cleaning earlier due to a rush so they were trying to catch up and told the cook not to do it again, they offered to cook my food in the back but if that is how it is cooked in front of my face I will never be returning to this establishment again. They could tell I was not happy so they “only made me pay for one adult meal” although it was me and my girlfriend who barely ate due to the state of the food, and offered for me to take home any fruit or food I wanted for free, I explained that I would not eat any other food from this establishment and kindly left after paying my bill. Not great service for Mother’s Day dinner. Very disappointed considering this used to be much...
Read moreWe have been visiting Asian Buffet’s within 50 miles of us and decided to visit here last night. It was the worst experience period! Though at a glance it looked ok we were very disappointed. Each aisle was a mess. Food was all over the counters. The food was continuously filled. When at a buffet, food often gets slopped on the counters. IT SURE WAS, and in the time we were there, not a one was wiped down and cleaned off. Therefore each aisle had food on the floor causing it to get slippery. For example; whole Egg rolls, and mushy stepped on broccoli smeared on the floors (not wiped up) from one aisle to the next. We were watching to see if anyone slipped and fell while we were there. The won ton soup didn’t seem to be going over too well. Maybe it is because the broth was warming but the won ton was kept in a separate dish all dried out and cracked! It wasn’t in water or a little broth. Not appetizing at all. Can’t help but believe it was still there when they closed. Just to mention a few. The real kicker was the 2 servers in our area, were rude as all!!!!! Neither even cracked a smile. The servers couldn’t wait for us to leave. The two other tables close to us, one was rudely given their bill while she pointed to the others at the table for them to pass the other bill around to them. They continued to finish their food and drinks. She looked over our shoulder to view what we put on the bill. Then walked to the other of the three tables and they told her they would give it to her when they were done. To finish this, it was an awful experience. You have a nice facility but it...
