This review is for an online shop and curbside pick up only. I did not a shop inside the store. I ordered 2 balloons for senior night. The balloons were the numbers 2 and 3 in silver. I ordered them with helium (which is an option online). The order was fast and easy to pick up within 2 hours. I decided to wait until I was on my way to the party to swing by and pick them up. Big mistake. Here is where it went down hill. I pulled up to curbside with my family in the car excited to see 2 big giant silver balloons come out. I parked in spot 1 at 4:50 pm and notified we were in the spot through the link sent on the text message. I waited for 20 minutes then decided to go inside. I stood in line still excited but instead was greeted with a scowl. I explained to the woman that I was picking up balloons. She sighed at me and rolled her eyes and walked away without a word. She then brought me my balloons that were still in their package. I told her I requested balloons with helium. I was then told if I wanted helium I could walk to the back of the store and purchase a tank for $45. I actually left the store crying because the woman was so cross with me. I thought she looked sweet but she was not. Two stars because the online experience was easy however I will never go back to that location again. On a side note publix saved the day and blew up the balloons for 7 dollars. The balloons were great quality but the customer service is a no. I finally finished my...
Read moreThis Michaels is usually always low on the craft paints they stock, even in the middle of the week when the weekend sales haven't started. Staff is hard to find on the floors but are friendly enough when you do manage to hunt one down. Michaels accepts cash and major credit cards for payment. There is plenty of free off street parking for customers. The exterior doors open automatically for customers and those who have mobility issues should be able to get inside and back outside easily enough, but mild clutter in some aisles may make navigating them with a wheelchair difficult. Michaels usually has a few coupons available on their website at all times that you can have the cashier scan from your smartphone. Michaels also has a reward program that you can sign up for which provides customers with a $5 off coupon to use on any purchase (even if it is on sale or clearance) for every $100 in non-clearance merchandise that you purchase. Michaels does not sell fabric or sewing machines; it sells framing supplies and offers framing services, sells artist supplies, sell candy making and cake decorating supplies, sells Cricket machines and supplies, sells seasonal decor, sells yard, knitting needles and crochet hooks, sells beads and jewelry making supplies, sells some party supplies, sells storage containers, baskets and carts, sells Cosplay...
Read moreMonday we took a package to this Michaels as they are a reship to Amazon store. We told them our package was to be shipped back to Amazon so they scanned our code from the email --' and imagine our surprise when today, the next day, we found they shipped it back to US, not Amazon. So we returned to Michaels right away to correct this and get it shipped to Amazon. Well, they scanned our code off the phone and told us that code would send it back to us again. We opened up the email and found another code which would ship it to Amazon but they then told us they couldn't print the label; that we would have to print the label ourselves. When we pointed out the email said they would do it, the store simply said they couldn't and we would have to take it to a real UPS store miles away. We did and that store took no time at all to get it shipped. Our point is, who would be dumb enough to not only not know what the qr code meant but to then reship it to you, not Amazon. Then, the next day no sorry but to tell the customer it's their fault they shipped it to them not Amazon, no apologies, then say they couldn't print the label. They people were lost and had no clue nor any business sense. They should take down their sign on the door as they can't ship...
