I would give this store ZERO stores if I could. I am a regular customer at this store. I usually go at least twice after work during the week and once every weekend. Today I went to the store and was treated like a CRIMINAL by the store manager BRENDAN HAVERTY. I was in an aisle when another customer came into it. She looked for a minute at the selection and asked me politely to move so she could get through. I did. She then moved into the spot that I was looking at just the moment before and I made it aware that I was still trying to look there (without saying anything.) She began to curse about me to her (mom/friend) stating that I was a B* and she would Fing stay there all day as long as I wanted to look. I politely told her "Hey, I'm just as important as you are." (implying that she needed to stop as I was there first.) She began to curse at me directly, stating I wasn't FIng talking to you you Fing B**. I muttered a curse word under my breath and walked away. She began screaming for the store manager. Who she must have mangled the story because he WALKED BEHIND ME THROUGH THE WHOLE STORE MULTIPLE TIMES AS I ENTERED AND LEFT DEPARTMENTS. He NEVER once came up to my husband or I and tried to find out what REALLY happened. He instead thought it would be a great idea to infer that everything was my fault and treat me like a CRIMINAL. I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE ON THIS! I tried to speak to the manager at the end of my trip about this. I told him that I did not appreciate him following me around the store like I was trying to steal something (as this is their protocol.) and that he should have come and spoken to me, or stayed near the woman who requested his help. He refused to apologize for handling the situation incorrectly and instead tried to speak over me and refuse to hear my side of the story (as he didn't seek it out as TJX Corporation policy states) to the point I was so frustrated I began crying in the store. My husband called the store to find out his name, as NATURALLY, this man covered his nametag during our conversation. Despite calmly stating "my wife and I just left the store and I need to know the store managers name" the associate asked for more information and he told her "your store manager just made my wife cry and I need to know his name" the associate said please hold one moment and my husband said " i'm sorry but I will not hold. I need his name, I don't want to talk to him, he caused this." She put my husband on hold and PUT THE SAME MANAGER ON THE PHONE, he then tried to convince my husband that (my husband) was wrong despite being there during all of this. I will NOT EVER go back into marshalls until they FIX the problem. This MANAGER (Brendan Haverty) creates far more problems as he is supposed to (by protocol) assess the situation and move on. He is not supposed to STALK guests through the store without CAUSE. I used to think the world of Marshalls/ homegoods and TJMAXX but as a former employee I am aware of your policies and REFUSE to allow ANYONE to treat me like a criminal without even ATTEMPTING to find out what happened. The worst thing is that he REFUSED to apologize for the fact that HE made the wrong call on the situation. Marshalls Corporate needs to fix this because I was one of their most...
Read moreEvery time I come to the store in Cortez in Brooksville, I never find any hello Kitty merchandise that comes out. Everything is being held in the back by the store employees and they buy it all up. I’ve been coming here for over a year now and within that year, I was lucky if I found maybe one or two things that are very popular And at this point I’m very disappointed I don’t even want to shop at the store anymore so my grading for this store and whoever runs it the manager is not only allowing them this behavior but why would somebody want to come shop at a store when you know when you asked employee, do you have any of the merchandise in the back and they say no and then you find out that they indeed did have it and it’s an employee that’s holding it and they buy it on their lunch break I’ve had many friends that went in there that told me and saw it. It’s very upsetting so whoever the manager is or managers that allows this for this store is a very poor Reading on my part and I am not happy if I need to get something I have to travel 30 miles out maybe 40 miles out of my place town in order to get what I’m looking for. Very very sad. I would definitely give this not even a one star they need to change management or get a better system , it’s one thing if an employee wants to buy some thing but the hoard it on the back and not have any of the customers be able to purchase what they are coming in for is very, very...
Read moreI love this store! My family loves this store! It's been a while since coming to this location! All the employees at the front check out were great, they all were amazing! We go in i go one way my wife goes another it's what we do sometimes. The young lady working the fitting rooms this evening she was wearing a red shirt (black hair parted in the middle) I'm certain she did not read her hand book upon accepting the job with Marshall's here because if I'm not mistaken you absolutely should not ever discriminate against anyone for any reason at all yet my wife grabbed a pair of pants to try on for work the employee lady there made my wife feel so uncomfortable went as far as and said something along the lines of which fitting room she belongs in! Wow!!!! Seriously??? Even if my wife was gender changing that's not that ladies business my wife is well aware what her gender is not that this is up for debate and she was getting ready to use the ladies fitting rooms to try on her pants but that's not for some child to speak on that in which case became abundantly clear to me that #1 Marshall's employee didn't know her place nor read her handbook which clearly states you do not discriminate under any circumstances therefore I'd like to know if this could be investigated because you do not treat anyone like this in a professional work environment no matter what your personal opinions may be! This took place tonight 10/27...
