I go to this HomeGoods in Brooksville more often than my pocketbook can afford, yet here I am again buying more. Most shoppers come here for the home decor, linens and kitchenware, ranging in style from contemporary to Bali, boho and arabesque, to Mexican, to Hollywood glam. They have a surprisingly affordable pet section, with harnesses, leashes, collars, beds, treat containers, toys, and so forth. If you are still wondering what I come here for, it is for their selection of paper napkins that I use for crafts and drawer pulls for spiffing up my furniture finds, all rather affordable AND high quality. The store is located in the shopping center behind the Panera Bread and nearly next to the Michaels Crafts. There is plenty of free off street parking, along with handicap parking. The store is fairly handicap navigable, although I often have to squeeze through aisles with merchandise carts in them which would be problematic for customers using walkers and wheelchairs. I would call the overall style of the store's merchandise selection as eclectic -- something for everyone but definitely not all the...
Read moreI'm a Homegoods junkie. This store is the closest to me, but one of the worst I've experienced and it's consistently. I second the sentiments of a previous reviewer. I never get good vibes, there a weird person always following and watching as a cardholder it makes me want to cancel the card and shop World Market. I take the drive when I can. Ironically there's one cashier up until I come to the register then the one that's been following me is suddenly interested in being a cashier when the lines have been long enough for 2. As a previous loss prevention associate I do understand the need to protect the merchandise. But this store takes it too far. This last visit will be the last after hearing the cashiersvrude comment right in front of me about 2 items I was returning. They were never removed from the package and I had my receipt. Rude staff as also...
Read moreFirst time in this store and was not impressed with anything. HomeGoods in the past has always had great selections of all kinds. And great prices. I still have many items I bought from their stores in Missouri. But, I'm not sure what the buyer had in mind when they offered this junk.
The items I saw were the kind that did not have the potential to sell elsewhere in the past. So were transported here. I suppose the buyer thought they would sell here because this is not a high-end area. Furniture is cheap China stuff no one wants. Old styles left over from before the plandemic. And high prices on those items. All I can say is "Get better or Get going!" Don't blame the area or the people if you can't make it....
