Overall a cool spot to try if you’re looking for something new or unfamiliar. The main event here are the rice cakes which come in different shapes/sizes and with different savory sauces. They also serve fried chicken bites in various sauces. There’s also a good selection of sides that could make up a good meal on their own.

The tteok (rice cakes) come in small, medium or really large cylindrical shapes. The shape doesn’t affect the flavor so it’s more about the chew. I found the rice cakes good but after eating a few they can feel pretty thick and dense. I enjoyed having the fish cakes which I ended up eating more of.

The rose sauce was excellent. Definitely recommend trying if you go the tteok route. The fried chicken also makes a good choice and would go great as a takeout meal with some white rice. Side options also really good so you could pick 2-4 of those as your meal.

Definitely glad we tried it but it’s not gonna be everyone’s jam. Give it a try and see...

Ordered Rose tteokbokki and their special original pork katsu.

The rose tteokbokki was delicious. We got level 2 spice out of 3., just the right kick without profuse sweating. The sauce was creamy and the rice cake had a nice texture and very fresh. It also came with a boiled egg, you already know what boiled egg tastes like so I won’t bore you. Another delight is the included sausage, sliced onions and carrots provided some veggies so your mama would be proud.

The pork katsu was also very good, very crunchy and had katsu sauce on top. Included in the dish were cabbage salad, pickled daikon and small rice.

Overall, it’s good and much cheaper than similar dishes at the food...

I saw this place advertised on Facebook and it looked like something I would enjoy trying. I looked up their menu and called ahead for pick up. It was quick and easy. They offer different choices of rice noodles and extras you can add on. They also have different sauces to try. The Rose Tteokbokki was my choice for my first visit. It was so flavorful and very filling. The location was inside a food hall. It was super busy and probably best that I ordered ahead for take out because there was no place to sit. But, I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu...

This place is WONDERFUL. I crave this place almost every day. My favorite thing on this menu are the rice cakes in rose sauce with sausage. The rice cakes are always fluffy, soft and chewy. The sauce is cheesy, creamy and smooth. The sausages are always crispy and juicy. The meal feels like a warm hug. I love this place. The employees are always so nice and welcoming. The young man at the register needs a raise immediately. He always says hello with a smile. The music is always a bop and the decoration is impecable. 10/10
