I've been going to Tofu Hut for many years. They are the original korean BBQ on spring mountain, time to give some props.
Tofu Service and ambiance: This is a small mom & pop korean BBQ resto. Smaller in size vs. the current korean BBQ joints but the tables and grills are setup optimally. Since they pack a lot of customers in a small area, it's going to be a little noisy. Two flat screens on the wall play K-pop music videos and random Korean shows. This is a casual restaurant where you're here more for the food versus the ambiance/experience.They have tables with the BBQ grills as well as regular table. If you don't get there before a wait, it's going to be awhile.Service is inconsistent but overall pretty good.
AYCE BBQ and Tofu Soup: Lunch time stops here for the Tofu soup have been common for me, my favorite is the beef tofu soup. They come out quick and you get a nice selection of ban chan/small side dishes with your soup along with a bowl of rice. Priced at $9.23 gets you to $10 after tax...don't forget the tip. The AYCE option offers pretty good value for the price at $16.99. The AYCE meats are good quality and the orders come out with good quantity. My go to's are the brisket, ribe eye and the ribs. Tasty and they've never let me down. I haven't done the a la carte option but if it's the same quality meats, stick with the AYCE.
This is a Spring Mountain Vegas classic as they were the only primary AYCE Korean BBQ option many years ago. They are holding their own against all the brand new Korean BBQ joints with the value they offer for their food. This kept me coming years ago and I still stop by...

I honestly love when you are surrounded by people who are willing to go out of their comfort zone a little and explore with food. No I don't mean something bad tasting, for a bet I mean willing to try something new, that is actually good to you. This makes the dining experience fun- or at least in my opinion it does.
Upon entering it was the lunch rush so there was a little line. We were seated and water was brought over. Our server let us know the menu was on the wall and asked if we had any questions.
We opted for the Japchae, Beef Tongue, Ribeye, Brisket, Pork Belly, Marinated Short Rib, and Seasoned Cucumbers. The quality of the meat was pretty good. My son got to experience the infamous meat Sweats and had to tap out. That was my highlight. As he can def eat my family out of house and home. Lol
Interior is a decent size. This place had been on my radar for years but it was always really busy. So I have been waiting for the right opportunity. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background
Would def recommend- pricing was reasonable. Menu isn't expansive. It is straight to the point with what they offer for the price. However, there are still several selections you can make. Customer service was very friendly. My table was checked on...
Read moreFirst- good spot for parking. Second- if you have others in your party, have someone get out quick and sign up on their clipboard for the queue. It’s a local fave spot, and reasonably priced, so there’s typically a queue. Be prepared to wait. But it’s worth it.
I like their at 50% capacity so they really are allowing dine-in properly socially distanced. They feature a new surface technology for sanitization. There’s even a contactless thermometer station/stand. Only recommendation would be to have a hand sanitizer near their clipboard and pen area. And there’s a sign saying you should be present when your name is called, else, they will automatically move to the next person’s name on the list. So, big parties can wait outside but a rep should be inside. That’s what I did.
FYI - Look for updates but as of today, they’re last call is 10pm and closes 11pm. So depending on queue, they cannot guarantee late groups signing in on clipboard.
Menu- Limited compared to most KBBQ BUT they offer a good quality selection and I believe this streamlines their menu.
Side note: should there be an opening at the bar, and you have a small group, you can ask and maybe bypass the queue.
TIP: For pick up/to go orders, bypass queue and go...
