Very disappointed in the 1960 location today. I understand it has been a long week for everyone with the storm. I come to Chick-fil-A because my kids love it but also because I enjoy how wholesome the workers are. I’ve had wrong orders, missing items, charged incorrectly, and yet I still come because I understand how hard the food industry is and they generally do a great job.
Today I added $25 to my Chick-Fil-a app right before ordering. I ordered and told the girl to use my rewards and pay the rest. She had trouble and scanned my app 3-4 times. I didn’t think anything of it because again, I understand!
What I will not tolerate is the disrespect the (assuming) manager in the front window was giving. She told me I owed $7 and that they weren’t gonna give my food. She told me without rewards was $21, and with the rewards was only $17. So I know I had more than enough to pay. I tried explaining and she kept cutting me off and basically felt like she was telling me that I was lying because “she can see all the scans on her end”. Then continued to say she’ll give me my food for the inconvenience but “next time this won’t happen again” and the food should be payed for.
I don’t need to be reprimanded for something that wasn’t my fault. I have plenty of money to pay and no reason to lie. But the disrespect and backhanded tones by the manager is not ok. The two young workers that walk the food to the car though were nice and the only reason I didn’t get louder and rude like the manager was.

Read moreWent through drive through this morning and as usual everything was great. Food very consistent, employees always helpful and cordial. I will say I was a bit taken aback at a situation I observed. There are a number of transient/homeless people in the area and I have witnessed them loitering behind the drive thru on multiple occasions. I have worked in this area for 20+ years and have seen several acts of violence and criminal mischief in the very near and surrounding area. The employees in the back alley area that collect cash are quite vulnerable in my opinion. Typically people who engage in the aforementioned behavior do so out of opportunity and are not deterred by camera's or radios. The fact that a single unprotected employee is handling cash in a less than visible area that is frequented by these individuals on a daily basis is not a matter of if it happens but when. Cameras and radios are after the fact measures and do very little if nothing in the way of deterrence. I mentioned it to the mgr and he said remodeling was underway but he was unaware of measures regarding my observations. I think the owners owe it to the employees to provide a safe work environment as best they can . At what price do you put the safety of your employees between ease of operation and profitability. As a long-time admirer of Chick-fil-A's reputation for excellent service and quality, my recent visits to the location on I-45 and 1960 left me feeling rather disheartened. Over the course of the past five days, I visited this location twice—on Friday and again today—and encountered repeated lapses in attention to detail that detracted from the overall experience.
During Friday's visit, a complete entrée was inexplicably omitted from my order, an oversight that required additional effort to address. Today, I found similar inconsistencies that reflected a lack of precision in service. For example, I was provided with granola instead of shaved almonds for my meal, a drink but no straw, and honey mustard in place of honey. While these may seem like small missteps individually, their cumulative effect leaves an impression of carelessness.
Chick-fil-A is renowned for its attention to detail and exemplary customer service, so these recurring issues at this particular location stand out as an unfortunate departure from the brand's standards. It’s my hope that the employees and management at this site take these observations into consideration and work toward improving their processes to ensure a more seamless experience for future customers.
