I have been to this location more than a few times. Every time I go in, no one greets me with a hello, be right with you. They just stare and keep working. 3 of the 4 visits they were out of the shrimp walnut bowls and I was asked if I wanted something else or if I wanted to wait 5-7 minutes for the cooks to make more. I opted to wait. It took around 15 minutes for them to get my food. I saw the cook put the bowl on the counter behind the employees working in the front and it sat there for about 5 minutes. I finally walked up to the counter and asked if someone could box up my order and I could go ahead and pay. It was also kind of strange that some type of alarm in the kitchen was going off about every 2 minutes. It got to the point where the employees just let the alarm go off for about 5 minutes before turning it off. It took about 30 - 35 minutes to get my food that time. And it wasn't that great either. Very oily. The 4th and last time, I got the same greeting (no greeting) and they had the food ready this time. But when we tasted the food, it was horrible, like it had been sitting there all day and there was not a good mix of walnuts, shrimp and Lo mein. There were only a few shrimp, one big walnut and not enough veggies in the Lo mein and It was soggy, oily and tasted so bad, we decided to never return to that location. For a $10-15 bowl, the employees should at least have a little better customer service. It doesn't hurt to smile at someone and say welcome , what can I get for you today? Or a simple, Hi, be right with you. And something is happening with the cooks in the kitchen, because this location's food is horrible compared to other locations. I hope this information can be used to help with the issues I experienced. If it happened to me, I am sure it has...
Read moreI walk up to the counter, only a couple other customers. A pretty young female worker came towards me all hyped up...ready to order? Ready to order? Ready to order sir? I hadn't really decided if I wanted the bowl or plate. I chose a bowl. Again the hyperness, fried rice or chow mein? Fried rice or chow mein? I said I want steamed rice. And before she even put the rice in there...she's like, and the entree? What entree do you want? I watched her fill the bowl all the way up with rice. Then I scoot around to at least look at the entrees before I pick one. Half of them were empty. I picked the Beijing Beef. She hurriedly scoops some up with some of it falling off the scoop, and puts it on the top of the rice, not even enough to cover up the rice, lol . I fully expected her to put some more....it was like 4 little pieces of meat, and 3 strips of red pepper. With horror I watch her put a lid on it, even though it was for here....she didnt ask me if it was for here or to go because she was in such a hurry even though there weren't anymore people in line. So we both walk towards the cashier, and I just kept walking right out the door. She was like sir, sir, sir. Forget her, I'm not paying $7 for a bowl of steamed rice, with a tiny bit of meat and red peppers. I eat at Panda Express all the time, and that's what I usually get. First time it was all rice. Not going back to that one, there is plenty of other...
Read moreIt seems that both stores on FM 1960 in Houston Texas appear to either have new owners our new kitchen employees because the quality of the food at both stores is not what it used to be. The customer service at the window could be much better, it's almost like they throw your food at you when you pull up to pay it would you donate to a certain calls which I do every time but it's the way they approach you. We sometimes get dinner to eat and forget the closing times. This last week when we were there and frankly we eat there three or four times a week. They didn't have anything that we wanted but what they had was good until I got home with it and realized that it was just mush so I had to throw a bigger plate away because of the quality of the food and I had several people I know in the area make the same remarks there is a Chinese restaurant here that didn't support the community during the pandemic but reopened just a month or so ago and their food is much better but I love Panda. Another issue actually it's with the tea some days they're selling sweetened and unsweetened tea some days they're selling raspberry tea and when you arrive at the drive-through and you asked for sweet tea you are told immediately we don't sell sweet tea we only sell raspberry tea and two days later you go back and ask for sweet tea and they sell you sweet tea so we love Panda but it appears that...
