My experience at this place at the time of my visit rather took a toll on me and let's just say I hope that what happened to me at this place never happens to anyone else. I came in to eat breakfast, it was around 7 in the morning and there was no one else in the restaurant but me and another table with 3 guest at it. I had ordered a coffee and while I was waiting for my coffee I had to use the bathroom and where my booth was I was the closest to the bathroom and managers office and the front counter where you go to get seated. So when I went to the bathroom I had left my wallet sitting on the table towards the wall. It was the only possession I had and I left it to let the waitress know I was still there. I know now that it was stupid on my part to think that there might be some good left in this world that if I left something unattended for a few minutes that nothing would happen. So I went to the bathroom and I wasn't even gone 2 minutes and when I came back out I noticed right away that my wallet was gone. I knew right away who took it as the only other table that was there was now gone. After talking with the manager and looking at the camera video we saw right on the screen that one of the guest had swiped my wallet on there way out the door. The good thing is I only had a few cards in there and no cash and all I had to do was send out one message to freeze all my cards, so they didn't get anything. So we had to call the sheriff up there and a theft report had to be made, and I was devastated because the process that it would take to get a new DL and new cards was a long one and I had no way to access my money. So the manager got me my breakfast on the house which was nice and there were three waitresses that were on duty, and they had all chipped in their tip money and gave me 50 dollars. I thought that was the single most generous act someone had done for me in a long time. That these ladies worked very hard for there money only to have to give it to me because someone stole my wallet, and also I blame myself as being too stupid to leave something like that unattended. So after leaving and getting everything straightened out as soon as I was able to get my money I went back up there and I gave the manager on duty $.140.00 and told him to give it to the waitresses to split. I knew they would get around $50 or more depending on how many waitresses actually chipped in, which I hope showed them that what they did meant a lot to me. They didn't have to help me but what they did made a horrible day I was having much better than it could have been. The waitresses and the manager are what made this experience bearable and what got me through my day. So I appreciate that more than anything. On top of the fact that the food was great even though I couldn't really eat but what I did eat, it tasted...
Read moreI was the bus driver . I brought a group of students and teachers in today. I dropped them off so I could park the bus. The teacher came and escorted me to the back where the group was. At that time the waitress was taking drink orders from the kids at the first table. I came and sat down at the table with the kids, then went to wash my hands. She was finishing up their drink orders so I just assumed she would be back to place my order. I sat patiently as she brought the group their drinks. I sat patiently as she brought their food . As you can see in the pictures how close I was sitting to students that she brought orders to, same table but never acknowledged me. She NEVER BROUGHT ME A menu , not asked if I needed anything to drink . After almost THIRTY minutes of PATIENTLY waiting I proceeded to place a to go order as the first two tables were half way finished with their meals…. I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED… The cashier that placed my to go order asked her why she didn’t take my order. Her reply was she didn’t see. How is that even possible with me seated at the table with students. AGAIN as seen in the pictures it show my distance from the students . SITTING AT THE SAME TABLE. A waitress is supposed to be attentive to her customers . Asking if they need refill’s, noticing if someone in the party hasn’t received food or drink… ATTENTIVE to her assigned area. To say you didn’t see someone seated in your area and assuming that is a logic excuse is UNACCEPTABLE.
The one young man sitting directly across from me she also forgot his food originally until the teacher asked him did he order . So she had to go back confirm his order and bring him his food as most were finishing up their meal. I couldn’t not enjoy my food because by the time it was brought out I had to get the bus ready for departure. The young man had to play over his food due to the Negligence of this waiter. SHE NEEDS PROPER TRAINING especially when serving a group /party. It was only 17 of us. No one was offered refills of their drinks...
Read moreThey ripped me off, the presentation of food was horrible, and took $2 off my tab after having to send my entree back twice. My tab was $60.50. My experience: Today (May 5, 2019) was the worst service and food I have ever had. How the manager and chef dealt with it was ridiculous. I went to IHOP after church with my three kids. The wait time to be seated was PERFECT and the waitress was OK. I ordered the avocado with egg and fruit. It states that it should come with avocado, tomato, lime juice, etc... on sourdough bread. What I received was a cut up avocado (plain) on bread with my over easy eggs on top (which was disgusting). I then asked the waitress to send it back to the chef. The chef then put tomatoes on top of the eggs with the lime juice, all on top of the avocado and bread (I told them I was not going to eat that, so I ordered my usual). That was not unacceptable. I then asked the waitress to just change my meal to my usual spinach and mushroom omelet. As usual it was prepared correctly, but we ran out of time to eat, as we were there from 9:40-11:00 a..m, without eating my food. When I asked for my ticket, I noticed no corrections to the order were done. The waitress took it back and when she returned she apologized and said they took 20% off of the meal. I said thank you. When I calculated the tab, it was not correct. I then told the waitress and she stated that she was going to get the manager (Sayde). The manager told me he would "not ever" comp that much off a meal. He took $2 off, which I still paid the same amount as the original item. He said the omelet was $13, but it was $11.28. My original order was $11.58. So I walked away over paying for my meal, which I never could eat. I am reporting this to the BBB, FDA, and whomever else will hear what happened to me today. It is unacceptable to treat customers like this, give false information. I love IHOP, but today was heart...
