I had to cancel my order because upon me ordering and checking out - the prices were different from when they emailed me. For instance, the two pizza specials were $12.99 and I papa sized it, so it went up to $15.99 (I expected that, been Papa-sizing for years) but when I got the email confirmation it stated that the pizzas were $16.99. I ordered two papadia specials that came with a 20 oz drink each for $7.49 each - that's what showed on my screen, but when I got the email it was listed $8.99 each. Also, the special for the dipping sauces were 4 for $1.49 on my screen, but it showed 4 for $1.96 in the email. I remember last year something similar to this happened; I noticed it because they messed my order up and it was more than $10.00 that they overcharged me. So I called Papa John's and was able to get a refund for the difference. Now, I have ordered at least a dozen times since last year. But when I called this time (only my second time in over 20 years for a refund), the manager claimed he couldn't do anything about it. I recorded the conversation. I always knew it was pricey ordering pizza from Papa John's, but I didn't realize it was because they charged more than what they "show" you on the "Special" menu and when checking out. My thing is: don't give me a $10 Papa Reward and then sneakingly get $5 or more of the money back when you connivingly calculate a different price. You can keep your rewards points if that's the case. Just be transparent and honest upfront with your prices!!!! Let the prices in the email confirmation reflect (be the same) as the prices on the menu/specials and at checkout. I don't appreciate this kind of sheisty business, at all!!! I wonder how much money Papa John has stolen from me and other customers all these years???!!!! I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years!!!!!!! I've spent thousands with Papa John's!!!!! Ya'll OWE ME!!!!!!!!! I bet a Class Action lawsuit is in order!!!!!! I will never EVER order Papa John's again...UNLESS... they lower their prices or at least be honest about their prices UPFRONT: ON THE MENU SPECIALS, AT CHECKOUT, IN THE CALCULATION and IN THE EMAIL CONFIRMATION!!!!!! If it says $12.99 on the menu and $12.99 at checkout, then it BETTER be $12.99 in the calculation and in the EMAIL CONFIRMATION!!!!!!! You got that, PAPA?????? ALONG WITH ALL MY MONEY OVER ALL THESE...
Read moreThis location is a piece of rotten feces. I have been ordering pizza from here for the past six years. In the beginning things were great. The staff was excellent, my order was always delivered in a timely manner and most importantly it was always correct. In the last two years or so it's been going to hell. It began with them not giving me parmesan and red pepper packets which I ignored since I consume neither. Then my significant other encountered a rude delivery woman who became belligerent when he asked how our order had been forgotten in delivery even though we'd paid for it AND tipped. After that I didn't order anything from this company for about six months. At the start of 2016 I began ordering from here again because it is close to my abode and I enjoy they're pizza. Unfortunately at some point this location hired a druggy. He wore sunglasses at 9pm, couldn't form a coherent sentence, reeked of weed and ALWAYS screwed up my order. Once I ordered a pizza and a 16oz water. He brought me Moutain Dew instead and when I commented on it he just laughed and said, "know what I mean". But I didn't. The last time I ordered two pizzas and NO drink. So he brought me two pizzas and TWO 20oz Sierra Mists. Maybe he has a thing for clear carbonated drinks? Tonight, however, was the last straw. I ordered two large pizzas at 8pm. I just now received them and it's ten minutes til' eleven. I decided not to complain, went inside to eat the pizzas and realized one of them is a medium not the large pizza I paid for. They have screwed up so many more times than I can count but I always thought ordering from them a couple of times a month was better than ordering from the other pizza chain with the cook who uses the marinara ladle to scratch orifices of his body...in front of customers. At this point I am no longer willing to give this sorry excuse for an establishment my hard earned money. I'll use this as my excuse to finally eat more...
Read moreHaving managed 2 separate Papa John's in the last 6 years I was highly dissapointed in this store tonight and know that they are not suppossed to quit taking carry out orders 20min before carry out is to stop. Especially knowing that the GM was trained better as I trained the person who trained them. At 8:40pm this evening I called to place a carryout order. I live 5 min. down the road and was taking advantage of the carryout special for large 1 toppings on Mondays. Upon giving my information and asking about the special I was then informed they would not be taking my order for carry out but would deliver. Upon questioning as to why, I was simply told doors close at 9 and it was 8:43pm. This was poor business ethics and improper customer service plain and simple. As someone who workes as a manager for the company I also know they are not allowed to deny carryout service 20 min before doors close per corporate standards and was thouroghly dissapointed in the staff and manager on duty tonight. This store is habitual in poor customer service and sadly is the only store close to me. After tonight I will start looking for a better location to order from or company. Tonight my four year old who begged for papa johns got...
