This review was from a Tuesday evening about 8pm. There were 4-5 employees present. I believe when we got there there may have been 1 other customer, While we were there, a mother and daughter came in and left. We were greeted promptly. My wife ordered a #7 combo. I ordered a 13 combo. He asked me again and I repeated it. The young man asked me if I wanted cheese for an upcharge (13s come with cheese, so I was confused). Just a couple of minutes later, we noticed sandwiches that were on the pickup counter, which were a #4 and #7, so I ignored them. Another young man said these were mine. This led to a discussion about why this was a #4 and not a #13. The (apparent) manager came up to see what the discussion was. I was in a hurry and preemptively decided just to eat the #4 (with cheese, explaining that question from before). The manager could/should have at least thanked me for being flexible...nada. My wife asked about napkins and the person responding pointed "they are over there", but they weren't, they were behind the counter. The back door at this restaurant, open to the back lot, was propped open about 8" with a floor mat the entire approx 30 minutes we were there. It was 32 (I looked) outside. The kids there clearly aren't paying the heating bill. I am assuming that this was for purposes of ease of access to the trash (evidence of cleaning in progress). However, this made the place cold for me and my wife, and invites rodents in (didn't see any). I asked them whether they meant for it to be open...yes, was the response. Overall this gets a "meh". There is too much competition locally for me to bother with this mediocre performance and lack of concern...
Read moreVERY inconsistent! On Sunday our sandwiches were perfect (except the missing mayo packets) Wednesday they were awful!! My sandwich was missing tomato, wasn't cut, and didn't have hot peppers. My husbands sandwich wasn't cut, and my sons wasn't cut and no mayo packets. I always order online and usually use the repeat order option but I always triple check just to make sure everything is how we want it. We keep coming back because when they're good they're AMAZING but I think yesterday was the final time for us. They constantly get our orders wrong and the one time I did order in store they were unbelievably rude. There were two employees just standing behind the counter not doing anything but it still took them a couple minutes to acknowledge me, and when the guy finally did he acted like he didn't want to deal with me I would ask him a question and he would either look at me like I was...
Read moreUse to eat there all the time over Subway. But just recently on Monday night 17 March 2014. I got two sandwiches. I ate them both and went to sleep. Woke up the next day with samanala poisoning . Spewing from both end. Worst experience because it has been none stop. Had to be put on quarters to fight off the bug. This is my third bad experience with a franchise restaurant. McDonalds, Taco Bell, and now Jimmy Johns. I will no longer eat at these restaurants. This has made me contemplate eating out at any restaurants because hygen in a low paying job is not at the highest standard. Definitely when it is in the fast food industry. Can not trust that someone has done something evil to your food or if you are going to get deathly sick or an STD. I am going to start back cooking my own food I will have to find the time some how. But what Jimmy Johns has done really is...
