McDonald's — Restaurant in Springboro

Totally unacceptable!!! Ordered two side salads and four apple pies. Told only have three and would I like a refund. Said I wanted four. Looked in bag given pies and two of the three were expired times of over two hours! A short guy, not the mfr. , said I would have to wait ten minutes for one pie. I told him to look at the times on the pies given me and explain why they were not thrown out two hours ago. He screamed out to everyone, don't sell any more apple pies period. He said he would refund the price of the pies and make four new. Very mad he ran back to drop the pies. I mentioned to the guy behind the counter you need to check the times on the strawberry pies. He checked and they were expired to. Upon telling the short young guy he screamed, don't sell any pies because I don't want to do any refunds, does everyone understand me! After twelve minutes he asked if anyone was covering the guy waiting on the pies. Everyone just looked at him and said nothing. He went back, got the pies, and said he would refund the total charges. This entire incident was uncalled for and definitely unprofessional. I was a walk in but just think how this would have been handled if I was in the drive-thru! I usually try to avoid this location as much as possible but unfortunately DoorDash had them as the first option. My doordasher arrived at around 8pm and had to wait for my food which wasn’t ready until 9pm and they even told me for future reference to order from any other McDonald’s location besides this one. When I was given my food in the tamper proof bag, after opening the bag I realized they forgot half of the order after taking an hour to get the order ready. I then called the restaurant to let them know about the situation and was then placed on hold while the manager “found my order”. I was on hold for 10 minutes without anyone getting back on the phone. The lobby was closed so I had to get an employee from outside to go in and tell the manager I was there and what had happened. They told me that I now had to go through the drive thru anyway and it would be resolved. At this point I had already waited an hour for the original order. By the time I got to the window I was told that they couldn’t pull up any of their DoorDash orders that had been placed after 3pm that day. The manager did end up giving me the missing food and I was finally able to eat my dinner 2 and a half hours after it was ordered. I personally think 1 star is still more than...

I haven’t been through this McDonalds in years because of the bad reviews but I decided to go today. We just went through the drive through so I can’t comment on the inside but we had a pleasant experience. The person who took our order was nice, the person working the window where we paid was dressed nicely and was really nice in a genuine way. The last window there was an older woman and you could see her smile even with a mask on, she greeted us and gave us our food, she was really sweet. All employees that I could see were wearing masks and they seemed to be operating very calmly, no chaos. It was around 12:15 pm when I went through so it was busy for lunch but the wait wasn’t bad at all. The food was good, I was surprised that there isn’t an option to order a small anymore when ordering a combo but that has nothing to do with this location alone, I’m sure it was a corporate choice.
